Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has issued a strong appeal to citizens to safeguard Sanatana Dharma, which he claims has faced numerous challenges in recent years. Speaking at the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala, Kalyan urged respect for all faiths while announcing a proposal to establish a Sanatana Dharma Protection Board. This national body would focus on preserving and promoting Hindu traditions, with Kalyan stressing the necessity for annual government funding to support its initiatives. Additionally, he addressed comments made by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin regarding the "eradication of Sanatana Dharma," warning against such statements in the future.
