You definitely need more subscribers man!!! You're my first channel for BB covers because you're the best. Makes me believe you were in the band at some point 😢😢😢😢
Hearing this song when it came out made me so emotional! How nostalgic, and what an awesome comeback from a great band. I felt this song beautifully embodied dark times I've gone through, and my journey to finding happiness again. This song feels like looking back in triumph alongside the very same band that helped me through. Fun fact, several years ago your guitar covers (especially your Breaking Benjamin ones) were one of my inspirations to pick up the electric guitar. Love the clean playing and the great sound that you produce! Great cover as always.
Always amazing to hear that my videos can have a positive effect on someone halfway across the world. Thank you so much for watching and revisiting the channel!
Not gonna lie your cover is the first time I’m hearing breaking Benjamin releasing a song for the first time in a while 😮 Sick cover as always bro it’s been a while!
@fgeo91 I've seen them three times in the last 6 years...great shows. Although I'm still a little partial to their earlier stuff with Aaron Fink (and bassist Mark Klepaski). Those guys were jamming. 💯
Welcome back, its great to see you again, lookin great bro!! I knew you'd come back when they dropped the single😂 You fckin killed it man as always 🤘🏽💯
God I can’t get enough of that descending run at the end of the song 😆 amazing cover man! What did you think of the song? For me it’s the BB formula but a lot less dark from Ember, but more along the lines of DBD. Kind of wished the solo was a bit longer, but I think the chorus makes up for it. Especially since it changes a bit each time it hits. Overall very, very solid song from them.
Thank you man! Tbh it's alright. I felt the chorus was pretty weak and brought down the song overall. The snippet had me imagining the song was heading in a different, darker/heavier direction but I'm pleased overall. Looking forward to see what the rest of the album has.
@@fgeo91 Yeah I understand and felt the same way. But man that chorus grew on me a lot though. I was actually happy for how uplifting the song is. The lyrics are typical BB but man Ben hitting those notes really pulled on my heart strings. Overall an 8/10 song for me. Very fun and beautiful. Again amazing cover bro. So excited for more from this channel.
@@fgeo91 100% agreed. The generic radio rock chorus destroys what could've been a really heavy, really good song. The teaser was incredibly misleading.
I've been a fan of your BB covers for so long now. They are my all time favorite band. I have access to Amplitude 5. Was wondering if you would mind sharing how you nail their tone?
Thank you! Yeah I noticed that in their "playthrough" they posted, doesn't make sense. Honestly couldn't even make out their playing over the playback.
Hi! I noticed you have something placed on the first fret of your guitar, near the headstock. Could you let me know what it is? Is it a capo? If so, what brand and model are you using? Thank you!
Well done! Do the chords in the chorus have names? I can never tell exactly what strings people are fretting by looking because fingers can also be used to mute lol. I feel like the chords are standard shapes but idk what they are so its hard to learn without tabs. Thanks
Thanks! Don't know the actual names but they're as follows, starting from the lowest string: 7-7-7-9-10 2-2-2-4-5 4-4-7 12-12-14 I'm aiming to have a tab written over the weekend, which I'll link in the description once complete.
@ true, the notes are enharmonic to each other but used in different musical contexts. still, i think it’s still more common to call the tuning Drop A#. doesn’t matter
It's 12-12-14, there's a C in that chord that can be heard. It's subtle, but it's there, and the poor mixing on the original song doesn't help. It's either that or they're playing 0-5-7-9 (BB don't use this chord shape so I ruled it out) or 0-0-0-2-5 (which again, they've never used). My guess was the bass is playing open A#, which is melding into the guitar so it's very difficult to tell apart, again due to the poor mixing. They're mixing has been very hit and miss after Dear Agony.
@@fgeo91 Nah, I've got the isolated guitar tracks in Moises. It's definitely a big open A# chord in the chorus, 0-0-0-2-3-0. Same in the verses, it's very clearly open A# on the isolated track. The bass is grooving hard in the chorus so you might be hearing some bass overtones in there because it grooves along with the vocal melody separate from what the guitar is doing. Mix does stink so you can barely hear that great bass line in chorus but so does most modern mixes. Everything is way too loud and just mushes together, it makes using isolation software almost necessary to learn this stuff. Last chorus changes the 2nd time through and plays an inversion of the C. Instead of 2-2-2-4-5, they go 6-7-9 on the low strings for added dissonance. Same chord pops up in the verses briefly. Most covers I watched didn't catch that and just continue with the same progression as all the other chorus's but it's there on the isolated track. Lead guitar is nearly impossible to hear in the chorus even with iso tracks so that's anybody's guess as to what is going on there but you have the general idea as does everybody else I've seen.
Finally some new Breaking Benjamin!
Their best stuff post Phobia for me :) Great cover
Thanks! Nothing will top WANA, Phobia and Dear Agony for me :)

Yeah it's a 25.5" scale. I have 13s installed currently.

drop A#?
Yes
I hear upgrade version of "i will not bow"
It's a good song and all, but doesn't even come close to I Will Not Bow, let alone an upgrade. Dear Agony and Phobia era are peak BB.
What Bpm are you playing is at?
I have no idea
97 bpm

Looks like drop Bb to me. This song is in the key of D minor/F major and ranges down to Bb at the end.
