- Is Eltham Palace worth visiting? Well we did just that and think it may well be one of London's most underrated attractions.
Join us at one of South London & English Heritage's best hidden gems as we explore the art deco interior, former bomb shelter basement and the medieval hall which once played host to King Henry VIII.
The real charm of Eltham Palace though is definitely the grounds. Perfect for a stroll or picnic on a sunny summer day or like us, hundreds of photo opportunities worthy of posting on instagram.
If you're looking for a unique tourist attraction with a Royal flavour on your trip to London, we definitely recommend Eltham!

im so glad you liked it Eltham Palace, its a beautiful place ..... the fish in the moat are leather carp and mirror carp i believe .... another 2 places to visit, close to Eltham Palace, if you haven't been already, are Rangers House, which is on the edge of Greenwich Park, a Georgian villa built in 1720's and now holds the Wernher Collection, this place isnt very well known at all, but a great place to visit ...... and Down House in Orpington, the home of Charles Darwin

Even though I go out every weekend in London I just do the same things over and over again pubs clubs parks clubs pubs parks never do any touristy things before Covid hit I went out every single weekend for 15 years but not once did I do anything like visiting museums or Cinema theatre
