Grumman HU-16 Albatross at Eastleigh/Southampton International

A very rare aircraft landed at my local airport today, I think it might be the first time this type has visited. It might be only the second one I have seen, There was one at Seawings 2000 which was a one of airshow which took place over Southampton water, I attended that so probably saw it but don't really remember the specific types I saw.
Anyway, enough about that!
This particular aircraft, N98TP is a beautiful privately owned 72 year old Grumman HU-16B Albatross, whoever the owner is, hats of for keeping her so well maintained and thank you for choosing Eastleigh as her temporary home. She certainly attracted a lot of attention from the local aviation enthusiast community.
The weather was far from favourable today, but the arrival was timed well as the worst of it had eased off although it was still pretty gusty.
She must be a joy to fly in but I cant say I envy the crew who flew the 4 hour trip from Bergen I can only imagine it would have been a bit on the bumpy side!
I had hoped to capture the magnificent sound of the 2 radial engines but unfortunately it is mostly drowned out by the sound of the wind.
