i did notice that it was the same woman, but didn't expect her to be sherlock's sister. i was thinking that she'd turn out to be moriarty's sister, actually. also, when sherlock said that "they always stop at three" (or something like that) when talking about the recording devices, i thought that it might be a foreshadowing that we might meet the fourth holmes sibling, sherringford, after all. maybe this season, maybe next.
I wonder if Sherlock actually ever texts Irene back, or if he was saying that to make John feel okay about it. I chose to believe he doesn't text her back.
I like how Euros' meeting with John parallels Moriarty's meeting with Sherlock. First in disguise, then in terror. I wonder if she was the one who killed Carl Powers.
This scene 'just texting' was like.... It was a real life. It's changed me, you know. I was feeling like something was going on inside me, like something was happening WITH ME, with my life, it wasn't like i was just watching a film and experiencing emotions, it was a real life. 'I'm not the man you thought I was, I'm not that guy. I never could be. But that's the point. That's the whole point. Who you thought I was is the man who I want to be'. 😭😭😭💔 I love your reactions and emotions. Thank you
Happy new year!!!! Loved your video as always! But i would love to see your face when Sherlock's phone rang and it was the 'ah'... sound.... By the way, I'm guessing you have rewatched it by now, but I'll say it anyway. The extra message on the paper, the one you couldn't make out, writes "MISS ME?" Hope to see more soon!! :)
I thought you'd have left in Sherlock putting his hat back on. That and his Henry V speech were 2 of the higlights for me, although there were a lot of them.
Torchwood boy I love your reactions! My reaction to the ending was VERY similar. I was watching it late in the middle of the night and started yelling in an intense myriad of feelings.
Oo - loved that - Moriarty's message was actually from Sherlock's insane sibling... Fantastic stuff - completely fooled me right to the end. Lot better than Ep.1. Absolutely love Toby Jones's creepy and sinister turn as a serial killer Jimmy Saville-like.
I thought the same on 15:17, about punch the bastard... But don't forget Sherlock was really debilitated and just a little before, Culventon had increased the levels of the drug, i think exactly to put him weak before do anything.
I think they dubbed Sian Brookes (actress playing Euros) voice onto Gina Bramhill (actress playing Faith at the beginning and in the morgue scene) so the 'switch' was more subtle. I do think that Euros is related to Moriaty not the 3rd Holmes sibling as she claims.
*I've got a fully thought out formulated (long ass) theory if you'd like to know:* I got to thinking what if Eurus hated Sherlock for some reason and because of that intended to hurt him but wasn't bothered enough to do the harm herself (at least, _at first_) so she went to the Consulting Criminal to do it for her but then Moriarty was toying around (*playing a game*) with Sherlock bc he's obviously fascinated by him so Eurus anticipated that he'd soon fail to kill Sherlock.. yet so he did. Putting matters into her own hands, she'd decided to deal with Sherlock herself (*it's not a game anymore*) and as Mycroft says he's the smart one, he sees this coming (*The East Wind is coming*) and becomes more concerned about Sherlock and so puts him under heavier surveillance (*it's coming to get you, Sherlock*). I don't think Eurus is Sherrinford. I think they're separate characters and when Eurus was terrorizing John she says maybe the secret brother (that Mycroft accidentally slipped which John questioned) was actually a secret sister (_assuming_ that Mycroft _saw her_ when The Big Brother was watching Sherlock walk the streets spelling out "fuck off" but in truth Mycroft didn't even know Sherlock was with someone bc they kept losing visual while tracking him). In short, Eurus must have assumed John was questioning about Mycroft's _slip up_ (somehow expected by Eurus) about a secret sibling _after_ she (or she supposed) was seen walking with Sherlock (must've thought she failed on trying to go unnoticed.. _I'll get to that later on_ **) by Mycroft's surveillance. Anyway, what I'm tryna say is that the whole Eurus telling John if it ever occurred to him that *_Sherlock's secret brother might just be his secret sister_* was probably just to confuse us (or for us to think there's just three Holmes siblings bc you kno.. Sherlock even says himself.. *_people always give up after three_* ) ;----) Moving on, maybe the reason why Mycroft's been meaning to reach Sherrinford is that he needed his help bc Mycroft knew Sherlock can't protect himself from this *_great danger_* and Mycroft thinks he isn't enough protection for Sherlock with this kind of danger... or maybe Sherrinford is the only sibling who could tame or outwit Eurus.. I mean Eurus knew Mycroft (the big brother) was watching her and Sherlock walk the streets all along and ** _successfully_ managed to go unnoticed.. also I know Sherlock was high but _how_ could he have not recognized his own sister if she is his sister so *_she must be good_* or Sherlock's never been knowledgeable about his _self-professed sister_ bc if I recall right Sherlock told John before that after he was born their parents must've had enough already (that he was the last) but then maybe unexpectedly there was a next sister that the parents (or even Sherlock's older brothers) tried to hide from him for some reason. Or to complicate things maybe Sherlock is in _complete denial of his younger sister_ that he may have forgotten about her or just strongly denies her existence. _There is a sister_ no matter how much Sherlock would convince himself that there's none (nonexistent).. *it is what it is* and what it is, is there (_existent_). Plus if Eurus' 'self-harm' scars are legit and not part of her whole disguise then she may be insecure/suicidal or physically abused so either of those two (_or better yet the cause of either_) could've driven her to do such things. *_or u kno eurus could just be a trans sherrinford like yall ordinary ppl insist_*
Can we concentrate on the part when she said "He's" making a funny face. Not "You're" making a funny face. Conclusion= Sherlock was standing behind the window.
Mmm I dunno, super genius like Sherlock who can deduce the SIZE OF A FUCKING ROOM from a piece of paper can't notice she was actually his sister? And also Mycroft that is apparently even smarter doesn't notice her from the surveillance? There's no way she's really his sister, that would be dumb...
No I'm sorry but that's bs, Sherlock basically hass super powers in this tv show and you tell me he doesn't recognize his sister in front of him? No, that would be offensively stupid.
Well he definitely proved he could deduct everything anyway, I hope they give an explaination in the next episode if she's really his sister... maybe he removed it from his memory or something like that (some theories say that she's the one who killed Sherlock's dog), there is no way he woudln't recognize her otherwise.
The way Mycroft has referred to her in the past, without saying who/her name, "the east wind", tells me either Sherlock is unaware he has a sister/has no memory of her.
I may be in a minority here, but is anyone else getting a little tired of Moffat's obsession with women and always making them villains, Madame Kovarian, Missy and now Euros Holmes
I am not a fan of Moffat but I'm fine with the female villains. It's not the last series of Sherlock though, that we know of anyway. I remember them saying they've planned for series 4 and 5 when series 3 came out and the BBC won't cancel it. There's plenty of reasons to bitch about Moffats writing on Doctor Who but on Sherlock he's done pretty well, this series at least.
Fair point, I just hope that she isn't characterised like what Moffat did with Missy, because I found her quite annoying. I agree with you that Moffat can writen some great villains except his a little bit sketchy when it comes to writing female characters.
doch Ry Yeah, I think his characterisation is often a bit off centre and especially with women. But I hope this ones good. She seems pretty good so far. I guess we'll see.
that ending is mindblowing
Apologies for missing out The Woman text. My bad, it was 11:30pm and I was editing needing to sleep haha. Sowwwy!
it's alright....it was just texting.
Sad..
loved the beginning with your dad. hahah it made my day
Haha that intro tho!!!
And also, you have to introduce your dad to the wonders of sherlock!!!!!
(rewatching the episode)
"Faith": Big brother is watching. (winks internally)
Me: Dis bitch.
i did notice that it was the same woman, but didn't expect her to be sherlock's sister. i was thinking that she'd turn out to be moriarty's sister, actually.

I thought it was Moriarty in a wig
Ms Hudson was the best part of the episode (besides that Johnlock hug)
I don't know whether to be excited or extremely nervous that the Dreamlord is in this episode.
Miranda Miller omg same!
I wonder if Sherlock actually ever texts Irene back, or if he was saying that to make John feel okay about it. I chose to believe he doesn't text her back.
18:56, "mutual friend put us in touch" MORIARTY.
dont know if you missed it. the uv light on the paper said "miss me?"
Really?!?! I couldn't make it out xD
It did, so i'm wondering, does Sherlock's sister have anything to do with Moriarty..?
ItsJohanna The two probably worked together in the past
NetherStar Entertainment yeah and she might be part of Moriarty's "bigger plan"
I assume Euros is pretending that Moriarty is back and using the whole Miss Me thing to get Sherlock's attention.
But more happy about the cake date for Sherlock and John
when they hugged i can't !
By the end of the episode, I had lost my sh*t and I was crying and going freaking mental xD
Hopefully more mental than Sherlock
Just about as mental xD
I tilted when she said Eurus means "east wind." Mycroft Holmes had mentioned a third Holmes in a previous episode.
Part of me wanted Sherlock to be spiraling into despair because he missed John, but I'll settle for saving John
I like how Euros' meeting with John parallels Moriarty's meeting with Sherlock. First in disguise, then in terror.
I wonder if she was the one who killed Carl Powers.

'I'm not the man you thought I was, I'm not that guy. I never could be. But that's the point. That's the whole point. Who you thought I was is the man who I want to be'. 😭😭😭💔
I love your reactions and emotions. Thank you
DAMN YOU SHERLOCK DAMN YOU! PLAYING WITH MY FEELING HERE!
I somehow love the part where watson goes fucking mental and almost beats sherlock to death. Idk makes me take him a lot more serious.
Ur face when ur just like "r they gonna hug??" And when they do ur reaction is pretty accurate!! Lol
"I'm too emotionally drained" that sums up me after watching the episode
weirdly the part where sherlock hugged John completely killed me
I KNEW THEY LOOKED SIMILAR

I thought you'd have left in Sherlock putting his hat back on. That and his Henry V speech were 2 of the higlights for me, although there were a lot of them.
You are far more coherent than I was at the end of this episode. It was a solid five minutes before my brain restarted.

Did Euros say "Culverton gave me Faith's original note"? So that mean's Faith and Euros are two different people!
Antti Björklund Yes, they are. Euros was pretending to be Faith when she met up with Sherlock
YASS JOHN SIT IN THAT CHAIR
I had the same reaction at the end!
Ioved this episode!!

i loved your reaction because those were mine as well !!

I thought the same on 15:17, about punch the bastard... But don't forget Sherlock was really debilitated and just a little before, Culventon had increased the levels of the drug, i think exactly to put him weak before do anything.
are you going to react to the 100 season 3 bloopers?
I think they dubbed Sian Brookes (actress playing Euros) voice onto Gina Bramhill (actress playing Faith at the beginning and in the morgue scene) so the 'switch' was more subtle. I do think that Euros is related to Moriaty not the 3rd Holmes sibling as she claims.
I BOTH HATE AND LOVE MARY WATSON
ALEX NO IT'S NOT THE TIME YET
YASS JOHN
In case you take suggestions of other shows to react, my suggestion is Mr Robot.
The note said "Miss Me?"
Was anyone else thinking at first she was Irene Adler?
6:35 explain that noise
awesome
Toby Jones was brilliant as the villain, but Ben absolutely owned the episode! That ending tho, can't wait till next week?
Dude, I have the same reactions as you.
Congratulations your channel is amazing. I'm a big fan
From Brazil :)

She's the sister of Sherlock AND Mycroft. Pretty sure she knows how to outsmart them.

He was also high on drugs at the time.

Nah that's not gonna happen I'm afraid. Swearing is just who I am.
