Vasco Rossi - you just say Vasco here and you know it's him - is arguably the biggest Italian rock star of all times. I think there are very few people in Italy that won't agree on that, even those who do not like him that much. You don't know about him because he never really cared that much about international stardom, unlike Zucchero for example. He is 100% Italian for the good and the bad, he never left the land where he was born really, he doesn't care, I guess. He is very talented but simple and down to earth, all considering, which is why people love him so much.
