Was a great machine but at the current price you're better off just going for the Peak 500 as it can be had for about 1500-2000 more and you'll get a bit more suction and more heat. Also, SS370 no longer has a Kohler engine and they went with a cheaper blower! Those were the two best features of the 370 besides the small size. Now its a Kawasaki motor so you may as well get the liquid cooled 31hp in the Peak! I just purchased the Peak 500 myself and had a quote for both the 370 and peak here in California. Probably one of the few new 370s available in California as every supplier I contacted couldn't get their hands on one. The one who did have one left was charging a premium for it and rightfully so but the price just didn't make sense when you can get a mid tier Truckmount for a little more. Hopefully SS gets their shit together and goes back to the Kohler and old blower when parts are more readily available! We can only hope :(
Id prefer a kawasaki over a kohler anyday. Im a 3rd gen Butler owner.. and was considering a 370 as my last unit prior to retiring… Butlers are mid 60s now… but first thing i wonderred.. is if they came in any motor…other than Kohler.. Id take Kawasaki or Honda…. Kohler is American junk on it’s best day.
@@sodobsonGood discussion! I find the tri HX mated to a 23hp with 4-5 blower is the best balance of power/efficiency.(2015 prochem legend gt) If I get to build one it would be similar with Readily available Honda GX or slightly more Kawi w/Roots or GD. For heat I would probably use a HX tube like amtex or blue baron

Great video!
Does this machines require a fule pump? I see you started this without one.
Surpried you noticed! It comes with a fuel pump. Best to use with fuel pump. :)
