Regarding Seeking Alpha, it is looking very interesting to me. I only wish they would have a cheaper alternative for people like me that are not super active investors. Also I have seen some Internet services that charge different prices depending on geolocalization of the customer. $239 dollars en USA is not the same as $239 in Latin America. I could definitively pay it, but it "hurts" a little more.
For sure, some folks just don’t like anything related to affiliates or sponsors. It’s ok. In terms of Premium and the cost, I agree it won’t make sense for everyone. If folks aren’t as active or only have a few individual stocks then just using their corporate IR pages and investor docs to keep up with their progress and use free tools where you can (even Seeking Alpha has a good amount of info and data for free). People should definitely evaluate their personal situation and only sign up if it makes sense for them and where they’re at.
I will check out this new feature for sure. I really like the analysis articles in SA, many of them are very insightful. Question: do those Virtual Reports use the 10-Ks and 10-Qs as data sources?
I'm not 100% sure, but I think the answer is no...in terms of directly using them. It's something I will ask them though. They specifically say their model is based on the analysis articles on Seeking Alpha as well as their proprietary Quant model. So the information in the 10-Ks/10-Qs is obviously indirectly included in however they are sourced in the analysis articles and Quant model (if any, since it's proprietary we don't know). But it's possible that they load them into their model as well, not sure. I'll ask and see if they will respond (or are allowed to) about it.
I really like your content, but something about this felt off. If you didn't get paid for this video from Seeking Alpha, you should have. If you did, you should have done a better job disclosing it. This felt more like an ad than a review(I was expecting a review), like the emphasis was a little too much on how great seeking alpha is, and not so much on the feature itself. You did go over the feature well, it just...felt too complimentary I guess. I hope you take this as constructive criticism, which is what it's intended as. I'm still a fan, this one just felt a a bit too saccharine for me.

Whether that's my review of Premium from 2023, my review of Alpha Picks last year or my Alpha Picks series that I started in 2025. The videos are marked as Paid Promotions in TH-cam (you can see the disclosure on the top as the video plays) and I specifically mention it at the beginning of the video. In this video I talk about my affiliate relationship with them at 0:35 In terms of "not really being a review" are there things you wanted to see about Virtual Analyst Report that you didn't get to see? I tried to showcase the full report for at least one stock so people could get an idea of what was in it and how they created it. Open to suggestions for the future though on what was missing.

I will admit that I didn't see the "paid promotion" floating text because I often listen to your videos while multi-tasking, treating them almost like podcasts, but occasionally switching over when you're discussing something specific that I need a visual for(in this case, I was on another screen when that was visible). In that context, it sounded like you were promoting something, but never explicitly stated it. You did state that you're an affiliate at 0:35, but to me, that just sounded like you'd worked with them before and this wasn't specifically a paid promotion. Again, this is from the point of view of someone listening rather than actively watching. With that in mind, I'll admit that you covered yourself in terms of the promotion, but for people who watch like I do(I doubt I'm alone), it would be nice if you would explicitly state that it's a paid promotion if possible. Not asking you to take more time mentioning it, just looking for more explicit verbiage if you're able to. Just a request. As far as the review itself, I have a harder time describing what it was missing. I think your descriptions came across a little more like a commerical than a youtuber usually would, is the best way I can describe it. You did go over how you use it, and provided an example, but it would've been nice to hear a little more about your current experience with it(good and bad) while also explaining where it's aggregating data and why you think it'll get better(you covered the latter, but not so much of the former). You did cover cons, but it would've been nice to have a more personal example, rather than a general mention of cons. To be clear, you were close, really close. It just didn't vibe *quite* right. I'm sorry I can't provide more detail than that.
Useless Video.. almost every analytics website has AI chat bot built into them these days... I would rather see how the holding in alpha picks are doing and how their latest recommendations are doing...
Don't really understand this comment. I have a Alpha Picks series that will continue in February (and monthly) talking about the performance of the 3 strategies I laid out earlier in January. Also...I specifically said at the beginning of this video "this is a trend we're seeing on all research websites" so yes I agree. The point of this video is to simply show what Seeking Alpha did with it that is unique to their platform for people who are interested in it. Not quite sure why you feel the need to post negative comments any time a video isn't exactly what you want to see that day, but ok.

They got back to me. Currently they don't use 10-K/10-Qs, but they do use earnings transcripts in certain cases. So that's pretty cool to know.

lol I've been affiliated with Seeking Alpha and using the platform in my videos since 2023. It's not just "some sponsor" it's the tool I actually use.
