Looks like an awesome trip. Have it on my "to do list". For the last leg of my trip, I am planning to leave from Sauðárkrókur (Skagafjörður) directly to Reykjavík. Heard there was not as much to see in this final leg of the circle. Would you agree?
We didn't go to the Western fjords, but I have heard they are nice. We went out to Grundarfjörður, it was an extra day but the scenery was worth it. Roads out there are not paved, good luck!
Very beautiful video! Great shots and perfect sound. Yes - Iceland with a drone that's an experience! I also enjoyed it recently. Fantastic... I love it! Sub + Like LG Jörg
Loved the video ...i have been dreaming of this place since so many years ...next yr on my bucket list... would be great if you can provide the complete cost of the trip...like hotels, car rentals, gas, any other costs ...
Hi, for 8 days we paid around 900€ for the car, 1200€ for accomodation, 300€ for gas, food 30€ per person per day, diving 250€ for 2 dives. Get e campervan if you want to go cheaper, we got pretty cheap accomodation so this could be more expensive, good luck!
I really enjoyed this! I'm only going for 3 days in September but do you think I will be able to hit a lot of the waterfalls? I am planning on getting a camper van so hopefully that will save me some time to visit more.
Gullfoss is really easy, Seljalandsfoss still easy and Skógafoss not far from Seljalandsfoss. Also Glymur, second highest waterfall of Iceland is not too far away from the capital area.

Awesome video guys. Just curious, what was your favorite part of your trip? And where did you guys sleep? We meet a lot of people like you, who make their own adventures in Iceland. Bringing your camera is great, but bringing a drone is ever greater! Awesome footage. One of our customers, Eric, shared a video with us the other day, where he also used a drone: th-cam.com/video/ywZo1aclF_c/w-d-xo.html
+Gleb Maguire We booked flights, car and accommodation by ourselves. Accommodation can be found from sites like booking.com or hotels.com, it is possible to find guest houses as you go but they are pretty booked up, especially during the summer.
+sixweeks I am thinking to travel in august or September and I thinking to bring my drone with me is there any problem with brining the drone ? I am thinking to book with travel agency called www . daytours . is what do you think? ☺
+Gleb Maguire daytours.is seems to have all kinds of tours on iceland, looks OK. We didn't experience any problems with the drone but there are restrictions in certain areas like Thingvellir national park and Reykjavik, use google to get the latest information. Prepare for rough weather and have fun!
+Gleb Maguire My Swedish drivers license was OK, but differnt countrys have different rules. Our car was about 900€ for 8 days, it was a 4WD, a regular car is probably cheaper. If you want to save some money on accommodation you should get a campervan like this: www.happycampers.is

Great video and wonderful landscape!!! @sixweeks did you use a red light filter for your dive in the silfra grave?
+tinti1989 Thanks! No red light filter was used, might have changed the white balance slightly for videos under 15 meters.
+sixweeks okay thank you :) really a fantastic video!!
I love this video

There are e few nice ones not too far from Reykjavik: Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss. But Dettifoss might be to far away.

+Robin Geisser Röyksopp "What Else Is There?"
how many days was a trip?
+Mārtiņš Vecstaudžs We had 8 days, you could probably go faster but I would recommend not to.
