I cannot agree enough of the statement of 'Never borrow $ to your friend', well in my case a colleague. He went around borrowing from many others but everyone just ignored him. Me being naive, I gave him $200 since he said that he will be kicked out of his apartment if he can't pay the rent that very day. After 2 months, he didn't even make any effort to pay me back, I asked for it. The answer that I got was 'hey it's only $200, stop chasing me for it'. Until today (20+ years), I didn't get my money back. This person still have the gut to send me a friend request on FB, which I ignored. Apparently, he isn't doing well at all after all these years where many of us have progressed in our career and life. Such a loser! 😤
