Poor but happy
In the 1960's and 1970's almost every toy a kid had in my country were made in Hong Kong. The cheapest sports shoes were made in Hong Kong.

Thank you for sharing such memorable video from 61 years ago. The video is so clear and show places of old Airport Kai Tat and the streets of old Hong Kong and decent ordinary people wearing cheogsam and men well dressed.

香港大會堂是小弟鄧志明敢認第二，相信不會有人敢在小弟面前認第一之叻處？理由是小弟鄧志明在香港大會堂二樓之婚姻註冊處辨過正正式式註冊結婚兩次之多，第一次小弟在1974年1月5日中午時份與小弟第一任賢內助麥錦芬小姐辨理正式註冊結婚手續，第二次在香港大會堂二樓婚姻註冊處正式辨理第二次註冊結婚手續，日期是1986年6月26日與小弟賢內助林齊練小姐辨理第二次註冊結婚手續，而小弟在香港這個那麼細少嘅地方總共正正式式辨理三次正式註冊結婚手續，試問閣下小弟敢認第二 又有誰敢企出嚟敢認第壹呢？多謝大家！今日為3O～12～2O22晚2118時刊出！

老香港，當年港人在港英政府管治下，不用太多考慮，不用想太多，生活簡單多了，因為港英政府當年獨裁高壓管治，把香港人當作經濟工具，所有事情都由政府說了算。所以更快樂。
當年大家也年輕，年輕當然好，所以港英年代當然比現在好，年輕時屙尿屙出界，家吓屙尿滴濕鞋。港英年代好丫。
當年港英面對越南船民，問都唔洗問過香港，對港人心領神會，簡直係香港心裡條虫，深明港人係大善人，一口應承香港做第一收容港，用港人嘅錢去貼呢班難民，搞到聯合國難民處仲掙港人條大數，如果計埋息，條數幾大吓，當年港人個個大善人，幾有飛屎，就戈算港英年代做個乞兒都快樂過人，施比受更有福丫馬。港英政府真係幫港積陰德。

早於1946年，港督楊慕琦，已經提出立法會改革，一半議席由華人擔任，2/3議席民選產生，史稱“楊慕琦計劃”，呈交倫敦政府，都批左，只係1949年大陸政權更替，共產黨上台，繼任港督葛量洪怕進行大規模政治改革，會觸動共產黨神經，先沒有執行。
1957-1962年，港督柏立基送華人公務員去英國進修，都係想培訓華人政府高層，只係周恩來係1958 & 1960年，兩次恐嚇英國，如果在香港推行民主，中國將武力收回香港
