I think it might have helped if he saw her pictures since men are visual but since he did not technically he had only their conversation to judge with and right from the start they weren't on the same wave length. She has a quiet kind of street wisdom, he operates a woke kind of intelligence. He had to explain his questions to her more than half of the time and she wasn't really listening to him, kept interrupting him and seems to have a totalitarian mindset while he is open minded. For someone who already mentioned he valued mind connection with girls this one was not hard to decipher that it will be a no for him.
The last statement she made really hit him hard "you're not ready". He really did take a lot. I could tell he's very good at reading conversations.
