You need a blast cabinet. Use glass bead. It also gives you a nice profile (anchor pattern) for the paint. And it takes a fraction of the time.

Thanks for all the videos. I’m 59 and in the process of finding and purchasing my first vette. I’m looking at C5 and C6’s. Your content has certainly been helpful. Look forward to all your future posts

You are making C4s cool again, I need to get one before they get even more ridiculous than they already are.

Still the most affordable vette though. Choose wisely.

Chris, I went ahead an put two coats of satin black paint on both sides of the wheelhouse panels and under the hood. It sure makes washing those places a lot easier!

Chris, welcome back Sir. Great to see more content from you! One question when you were grinding on one of the 1st pieces, you mentioned that it maybe part composite or such. Is it OK to grind on these type parts with out a mask on? Would there be any dusk that would not be good to breathe in? Just curious? Keep up the great videos!!!!

Hey Chris, I have a thought that maybe you are already thinking. Before you put the fan module back in it might be a good idea if you can to see if they work. Not sure how you could do that because I am not sure how the fans on that set up are controlled. I am not saying this because of your clean up. What you did should not hurt a thing. I am just thinking if you put those back in and one of them does not work, that would just suck butter milk. I love your attention to detail. Makes me feel like a rookie. I thought I was detail person until I seen your work.

I don't want to give a false suggestion, but could the rust in the lower obscure areas be from having been in a flood or standing water just high enough to reach the areas containing rust? Antifreeze should have rust inhibitors in it. Just askin.

I would spray a little Rust Check (basically oil) into the inside of the frame rails while they are all exposed and easy to get at.

Looks like Ryan Richard Fick is at it again with another phony account. So funny how you kept posting about Chris wasting his time on pulley issues. Now it's you have those problems 🤣.
Don't worry Fick, new video series coming along with a road trip to southern Arizona!

Great C4 and C5 content. I have both as well. Just picked up C5Z06. What rims and tires including sizes are you running on your C5? And who makes those driving lights? Your car looks great! TIA

Didn't catch the paint. Putting water based cleaners on metal is stupid. Use solvent, rust inhibiting oil based primer and oil based final coat. I'm having good luck with self-etching primer from Wesco.

This crazy I was just thinking yesterday, I wonder if Chris is ok cause it’s seems like he’s been gone for 6 months. I know you had posted the video about talking some time off. It just seems like it’s been a good minute or 2
