i assumed she used the shaving cream, shaved, then put on the oil, but after looking it up i wonder if she put on the oil THEN the shaving cream. the oil probably has time to penetrate the skin a little bit and moisturize it before shaving, meaning you'll experience less abrasion from a razor. just a guess, though.
