The so called “diaspora wars” take place mostly on social media. It senseless to argue with faceless people, you don’t know who’s behind the keyboard. I believe the diaspora needs to have conventions on the continent or the Caribbean to engage with one another face to face.
Social media is no joke bro, we all know many things start with "faceless accounts" on social media, and end up on the streets. We've seen it before, especially in South Africa. There have been deadly riots in SA, which started on social media, some social media account holders were even arrested, remember? Sphithiphithi had been faceless all her life until her arrest over July 2021.
"New diaspora... Contemporary dispersal" -we are learning here bro🔥 Remember when you said "my City love me" in reference to New Orleans? Not only have you found home in South Africa, but you have found the same love, because we love you over here bro, we are your new "my City loves me" point of reference😅 Bro, LITERALLY nobody has shown us (Black South Africans) as much love as Black Americans in South Africa have. White South Africans came in guns blazing centuries ago, and have never been positive since. African migrants came in with competition rather than collaboration, and an attidute of indifference at least, resentfulness at most; and have had nothing but nasty things to say about us; but Black Americans came in showing love right away. And it's not like we are some emotionally needy people just waiting to be shown love, but even the most secure and self assured person does respond positively to being shown love by another, and we do appreciate your positive approach guys. Please pass the message to other Black Americans, we see your approach, and it has made a indelible mark in our hearts and minds already.
@Karabonkabinde7290 Lovely to have read your message and all of your points are well taken. I am Caribbean American reading your message from Brooklyn, New York and I definitely approve your narrative. I will soon be visiting SA for my 7th time in 2 weeks! Truly looking forward to it!
Doc, Seems like New Orleans may get hit by another Hurricane this weekend.... Hope all goes well!

Excellent point. However, there are personalities with names and faces in the "war."
