- Another incredible day out in Mosquito Lagoon's eastern Pole and Troll zone sight fishing multiple big redfish and black drum. These cooler temps are creating some excellent water clarity and firing up the bite. We're rapidly approaching my favorite fishing time of year!
I really appreciate the story telling Jeff. I actually clapped when you pulled up the 30" red. What a fish! That's a great reward for sticking it out all morning.
Going back a few years! This was a really good day and some of my very early attempts filming with a hat camera.
@@JeffHammerFishing I'm so dumb I commented on the wrong video. The autoplay must have brought this one up when your Memorial Day one ended. That was the one I was watching in the gym and was so invested in the story. This one is good also!

Funny, I was thinking about hitting Scottsmoor instead, because I was in the mood for black drum. I used to launch there all the time, quite a few years back. I've had some amazing days over there too.

Awesome day you had there, the one time I went out to the pole and troll on the yak it was infested with idiots running their outboards in less than two feet of water. Found some fish in the murk but the water you had there looks amazing compared to when I went.
It's an ongoing problem, and honestly, it bothers me a lot more than it probably should. I guess after so many years fishing the lagoon, I feel a little protective of it.
