@mamateciascateringrecipesa1466 I disagree. The Japanese know to avoid places like homes and places like this house. Some houses just need to be removed from existence, that's why here in Britain they destroy houses with dark past. Like the famous haunted house in Enfield London.

I told my teen daughter when she was crying over just about everything, “listen, I understand your emotions but think of our ancestors and all they had to do to get you here. They told me to tell you “YO AINT NO PUNK B!” That was the first time I really cussed in front of my daughter and her eyes got big. Then she went on to say how she didn’t care about school, or her homecoming, or her senior prom, nothing. She then got Covid and missed her first week of school, she then caught the flu and missed her entire homecoming week and senior night, then 2 weeks later got mono. I felt so bad for her and had anxiety out the wazoo. I had to tell her “your ancestors have spoken! Be careful what you say!! Now do you feel stronger?” She has been positive ever since.

I'm a new subscriber and I would like to tell you that there's a movie called The Saint Francisville Experiment where these 5 white college students , psychic included to see if the plantation was really haunted. I have the movie on VHS. I am currently looking for the DVD. Long story short these 5 people spent the night in the house and was filming the supernatural occurrences. The researched all they could find about Madame Lalaurie and her inhuman treatment of her slaves. Long story short, they didn't spend the whole night. The psychic ended up getting her faced scratched up and 2 of the college students ended up needing psychiatric care due to the trauma they suffered. The others were severely traumatized! As a black person I will never, ever set foot on a plantation. Let the disrespectful deal with the trauma!

I read she remove the eyes of her slaves. She was def sick!!!! Sad she got to move away and live her life without consequences. SMH truly a very disturbing story
I would not go inside. I am too sensitive --listening and reading the story send chills throughout my body.

We are not our ancestors stems from lack of knowledge due to the education system my mother is 60 years old September 26th I literally taught her about black history she is still in the mindset that slaves didn’t fight back she’s still learning I say that to say let’s keep in mind how behind some people are thinking wise

Last I checked, no one's allowed inside because someone lives there now. The owners won't let ppl come in. It's in the French Quarter so I guess with it being on a main street that makes it hard to block off. To stand outside and know the story is so ominous. The house itself is so unassuming. Great video Yaya!

  • @BCBrowni

We, in New Orleans, surely do walk by and drive by that property like it is a regular old building. I didn't know all of that went on! But I'm not surprised. The French Quarter has a lot of history. I would never want to actually live in any of those properties. I could definitely feel a presence while I was working and visiting some of those buildings in the Quarter.

    Great job with this.
That house is definitely haunted. I walked by it without realizing it and felt a weird enough vibe for me to cross the street. Many place in New Orleans are haunted, but most of them didn’t feel dark like that house, the whole block it sits on !
Also, Nicholas Cage bought a pyramid crypt next to Marie Laveau’s. Trying to out shine her is why he’s cursed.

You never know what you can do or endure until you're going through it. If someone asked me when I was a teenager if I could've endured and went through half of the things I have in my life, I would've said, hell no. I would've lost my damn mind. It only makes you stronger when your abuser thinks he's weakening you, he's actually making you stronger than you ever thought possible. I was lucky enough to be able to escape with my and my children's lives. It wasn't easy and I couldn't speak to my family 9r friends for almost a year. My kids are grown now, I have 4 sons, and two of them are homeowners in their early 20's, and the other 2 started their business together. I'm so proud of them.

2 years ago my family and I went to Nola during the summer. And we did the haunted house tour we couldn’t tour the inside like you said but the guide told us the story about it on the outside then he made a joke like if you take a picture and can see a ghost in the picture we’ll pay you for the photo so i actually took a picture of the house and I swear I saw a spirit in the upper window i was showing my cousins they like that’s just the lighting girl like I know what I saw 😂😂

I think I have said that in times when I am referring to Reacting to situations in THIS day and age. So I guess a better term is we don’t react like our ancestors reacted back then because this is a different time. Back then I’m sure we all would’ve backed down just like our ancestors did because we would not have had a choice. TODAY Some of these Ray to thd cist yt folks will feel these hands.
