My young dog has allergies. I refuse to treat him with pharmaceuticals. He was on a vet food which I hated. I decided to put him on a good food instead of it. I explained it to my pet store and they recommended CARNA4. I chose venison because it was a protein I hadn’t tried. He isn’t scratching more then he was on the vet food but we are working on that with a Naturopath. He has allergy to the egg. Thankyou for creating a food I feel good about.
I'm getting my Golden Retriever soon and I have been trying to prep as much as possible ahead of time including diet. So I'll definitely be starting to go to Miss Kibbles since they're the only place that has it anywhere nearby.
I love this philosophy for dog food all together. This is how I approach my own diet. I strive for 100% Whole Foods but I typically land somewhere in like 60-80% Whole Foods then supplement with fillers (pasta, bread, etc) then supplement with supplements. This is great info and exactly what I was looking for for my new Doberman pup. I have tried so many brands already bc I haven’t been satisfied. Trying this one next!
The issue with Carna4 are high carbs…dogs are meant to eat MEAT protein…if you have a dog with pancreatitis…then a lower protein, higher carb would be Appropriate…
My boy with Allergies is on the third 20 lb bag of Venison. Bag #4 is waiting. He couldn’t eat the duck. I will try the fish someday but I don’t want to rock the boat. This is an excellent brand. We have been fighting brands since he was a pup and I feel settled on this one.
Ive checked all of my local pet supply locations in N Nevada, unfortunately none of them carry Carna4, my last order was sourced from White Dog Bone retailer back east with it taking 7 days to arrive, is it possible to connect with a local retailer for convenience sake??
I am kind of disappointed with Carna4. I bought chicken and duck formulas. But, My cavapoo puppy didn’t like any of them. She refuses to eat it, even if I add sprouted seeds. I started the transition plan replacing 1/4 of her regular food, she didn’t take any carna4 nugget Any way that you recommend me get her eat? I would like to get her something nutritional but at the same time súper tasted
Ive gotten my Pitbull, Lamb, Venison, Goat, and now waiting for the duck to arrive at my door. He absolute loves carna 4 over any other brands and after every meal he has a nice full stomach full of energy and very happy Ive found the kibble to stick with after trying ORIJEN, Acana, and Victor. Doing a simple calculation, Carna4 is roughly 40% carbohydrates. That’s a lot for a $170.00 bag of dog food.

Carna4 has salmon, duck, lamb and goat nuggets. My pup loves the goat nuggets. 😊

I had similar results with my havanese and immediately switched to fish flavor. He's been eating it for 2 years now
I added a bit of pumpkin and bone broth until they got used to the food.
Someone is being picky it will eventually eat it after a day or 2
