Your SN Seiko (the 50 fathoms homage) has what Seiko calls the 7s36 movement, an “updated” 7s26, hence the absence of hacking or hand winding, and also the power reserve issue. Those old Seiko movements are notorious for it. The good news is that even my old SKX from 2001 still chugs along after a few shakes to wake it up, but I could wear that watch for 6 weeks strait and it would die 5-8 hours after taking it off…been that way for over a decade now.

the seiko watch you need to repair the less power reserve issue.
