very moving. And I think the lead girl needed no special grey garb: she leads by ability, I like they choose her in spit e of her not very "maori like" outside appearence, She is doing a great job...

Us Maori don’t really care what you look like as long as your heart is Maori.
If you look different we’re more likely to push you to the front as not to make you feel excluded.
Also Maori come in all shapes colours and sizes since being colonised, she probably has more Maori blood than I do and I look as Maori as they come.
