    Its fantastic that a British manufacturing company has been so successful in an age where so much has gone off shore. Proves it can be done.

      Any company can achieve success if they know what the people want and can manufacture it properly. Having a famous brand name also helps. :)

    It looks like a store room of foreign made parts and assembly area of for bikes made up from parts made in Asia .

    Yeh, I went there in 2006/7 with a group of bikers.
    Thanks for the invite guys!
    I had a guided audio tour seeing the full production assembly from start to finish.
    Fascinating!

    Not a single operation happening. All the work is being done at Triumph's 3 factories in Chonburi, Thailand. Where is the UK foundry? There isn't one. This shed just assembles other peoples components.

    Congratulations! I just traded in my 2010 T-100 with 37,000 hard miles for a 2013 T-Bird Storm made at Hinckley. The 865 engine is made at Hinckley. The whole Modern Classic line is assembled in Thailand. So part of your baby comes from the Hinckley Plant. Good luck with that Bonnie.

    The only bikes assembled at Hinckley now are the tiger and street triple. Everything else imported from Thailand so Hinckley is now mainly the European distribution center.

    • @Cake_Enthusiast
      @Cake_Enthusiast 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You sure the street triple is assembled there? I have an '18 and I'm pretty sure it has a Thailand build code.

      @@Cake_Enthusiast Sorry meant the speed triple.

    testing and assembly that's all I see, nothing is being "made" here, welded or brazed, seems all from thailand imported, then some virtual tour makes it seem a factory which it is not, correct me if i am wrong

      My previous '01 ST and current '08 ST came from here too. Thinking this is the new plant built after the '02 fire? Hoping to take the factory tour at some point.

    *TRIUMPH MAKES THE LIST FOR UNDEPENDABLE MOTORCYCLES WHILE BMW BIKES ARE STILL RATED NUMBER ONE AS FAR AS DEPENDABILITY AND TESTED TO BE EXACTLY THAT!!* *TRIUMPH HASN'T MADE A QUALITY BIKE EVER, WHICH IS SO SAD FOR THOSE WHO THOUGHT THEY LOVED THEM!! :\*

      Exposing the Darkness with the Light of Truth I’ve had my 2001 triumph Bonny 17 years now , and apart from tyres and chain and sprockets, it’s never let me down. I would recommend triumph

      @johncarmichael3935 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Exposing the Darkness with the Light of Truth mines never missed a beat. Starts every time. It’s the same for every Triumph owner I know or ride with. So your statement is not factual.

      @@davea9946 He's obviously got a BMW. Therefore he thinks he is posh. In that case the word is not "shit, you need an suffix, an additional "e". Stay behind and write out 100 times "What a load of shite" Which would be correct!. All the best.
