New Subscriber you made that look easy, I have a 1200ft line purchased last season, I’ll split it down to 600ft this year for my first run off my kayak. I’ve caught monsters off the navy boat yard. Stay safe this season 👌🏼keep the vids coming
i enjoyed the video i went 2 the chester yesterday late morning early afternoon and qith 30 trapz i got 39 crabz now I'm not asking for ur exact spot but if itz ok 2 ask what body of water r u in
Loved the video. Was wondering how much I’d have to invest to get started ? If I’m starting with nothing. Also how much line could I run on commercial license ?
so for me boat was $9k and commercial lic was $2300 and then other odds and end you may need maybe another $600 or so and with a commercial your line is unlimited
@@RLA1983 honestly just depends on if you can stay on the crabs i had some $1k plus weekends and some where i didnt make much. I only crab the weekends my self
Damn Bud for a minute there I thought somebody done took a video of me crabbing we got same boat same trash cans same trough same yellow Ben this video was definitely messing with my head for a couple minutes LOL where you crab at up we crab in Easton Maryland right on Tred Avon used to go out out of Bellevue but now we're up at the very end of Tred Avon at the top much better crab in there and don't have to deal with this many boats or rough water
no shit man lol small world I bounce around all over I was tompson last weekend I like crabbing the tred tho just a pain dealing with all big boats in the main river
@Henry Terrell yes dnr isnt giving any more out so I actually put a post on Craigslist that I was looking a lcc and had a bunch of people reach out. couple things to look at is to call dnr and have them run the persons lic before you buy it to make sure there isnt any violations bec they transfer with the lic and the person has to have had the lic atleast 2 years in order for them to sell it
Hey Ryan. looks like u had a productive day. Just wanted to give u a heads up. Make sure you have all your permits and lisences to sell current. All records up to date. MD DNR and the state health inspector are taking a close look at "LCC holders". The watermens lobby is again pushing the state to crack down on rogue LCC's who are selling without the seafood lisc, over female quotas and food storage issues. Rumor is that they are monitoring UTube and FB. Guy I worked with is 100 percent legit but got caught up in some kind of sting they were running Memorial weekend. He recieved a warning for transporting the crabs above safe temperature but no other violation.
@@ryanribb5607 I agree. I was always able to Crab the deeper water because I used longer Anchor lines than the average Bear. Others would laugh at me in the Channel on the Patuxent till the looked in my Boat. :)
its basically a mesh bag that i put the claims in and then have bungees attached to the line with a slip knot. I fill the bags with clams and then put them in the slip knot and then wonce your done you pull the knot lose and dump the old clams out

Thanks man and this was from the western shore south of the baybrdige
May I know what jon boat model you are using?
this is a 2014 1756 G3 with a 25hp yamaha
Wherd you buy that net at?
a buddy actuallygave me that net but i think anglers sells it
you need a wind abatement device for your mic. Usually referred to as a dead cat. It's just a fuzzy thing to diffuse the wind over your mic
Yea definitely, i had just got the go pro so was trying it out. Im definitely hoping to get into filming a little more.
How much for 5 bushels?
all depends on what size you want and where you are located
