It isn’t a secret exit, Johnny spawns there. I always guard that area as it’s the most broken extract on all 3 maps. 2 pick locks and your entire team can escape on a massive road

I somehow found this the first time I ever escaped. (After dying the first 10 games) I couldn't believe it. I saw the road and thought 'nah there's no way I can escape here'. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't run into an invisible wall.
This was awesome!! My wife and I stayed at the Gas Station a few years back. It was cool as hell! Still set up like in the movie! I ain’t going to lie, it was creepy at night!!!
i personally hate the "secret exit" its not a secret anymore once people realize they dont have to do any gens. its legit a Free exit WITH a latch to guard you. makes no sense why they added a 5th exit that defeats the purpose of having the escape mechanics for killers.
Well Johnny spawns there, because you're pretty much supposed to guard it. A lot of killers I faced recently had been guarding it and getting a 4k but when they don't it's a ez escape

Just having 1 killer forced to patrol that area massively reduces the family's effectiveness, and leaves the other exists (outside of generator exit) much easier to escape from, battery being the easiest
Nah putting it to 50 is pointless, if you put it to 43/44 it’s basically still the same, the only difference is the sound thing goes up Slightly quicker but it’s still impossible to make any noise with it on 43/44, you can just save those few attribute points for another one of the skills. Just give it a try
It’s pointless! You don’t need to spam the button to loot unless you’re completely horrible at keeping quiet and can’t hide for sh*t. You need stamina to run, especially with Connie because her ability eliminates stamina while it’s active, and some extra strength helps to not die so quickly. My stealth is at 40 and I can loot quickly just fine, takes maybe an extra 2-3 seconds than lvl 50 Stealth. Thats nothing. As long as you can hide, get the tool and remain hidden and quiet while moving around and picking locks then there really is no need for 50 Stealth.
As a professional game tester I’ve played a total of 80 matches so far and my experience on this is that they need to work more on this game big time and it can be a bit unbalanced at times i literally have been chased all match just because the killer was determined to kill me the grandpa detection is annoying as hell it’s seems to be too frequent hopefully they will put out a character that nullifies his detection? They also need ti add some kind of map so players aren’t lost I’ve played that much matches and still don’t know the whole map 😂😂 and also the victims need more options to defend themselves like trapping the killers in a room or making them fall back into the basement or do a certain mechanic to kill one of the cannibals requiring at least 2 teammates 🤔🤔 and another thing victims should be able to have a back view without looking stupid trying to see behind them peep holes should be added too so we don’t have to risk any movement that can get us compromised the door mechanic needs a update as well killers shouldn’t be able to open and move thru so swiftly when we can’t even outrun them i also noticed a lot of bugs but that is expected ofc and i feel like if your being chased by all 3 or 2 killers the victim should have a sprint boost like a adrenaline rush infinite stamina for 5 secs or a perk where u absorb a certain amount of hits with no damage
its not a secret, its just one of the rear gates that HAPPENS to have an alternative route lol. I get why everyone thinks this is secret, but if you play Family and play as Johnny or Sissy, they will spawn right at that exit. Then, while trying to figure how to get back to the main part of the Gas Station, you'll notice that the normal exit is electrified and thus you have to find another way, which is the door that is locked/alternate way thru.

Not a secret. This is why you have a lvl 3 cook on gas station, pad lock that door and the other two leading too it. Have one killer patrol the battery exit. Cook patrols mid exterior and the two pad locks. Leather face roams. It's best to have a good sissy or hitchhiker.

Yea idk what the devs were thinking when they made this. There’s legit a door you can walk out of as an exit on gas station, with a door that victims can latch AND go around . Completely defeats the purpose of having a gen right there bc anyone with brain knows that it’s way harder to turn off a gen that can be turned back on rather than busting a lock that once busted is just a free exit for anyone that makes it there
because the gas station exit is so blatantly obvious that no one expects it to be an exit, hence why the killers guard every other place except gas station
Stung by yellow jackets, went to the hospital, came back, and Caliber has a video. More context: My friend was getting a ball back from a tree line. I went in to get him out because his hair was getting tangled on the branches. Then I looked down and I was coated in wasps on my legs. I led him out saving him and then I took it like a champ. I was never freaking out, I wasn't taking it seriously. 15 minutes later I was fine but then I got hives, making the school nurse give me an epi pen and call the ambulance.

I was never really allergic to anything, I guess that if you are allergic or not you can get a reaction depending on how many stings you received. I'm a hero though, I led my friend out of the forest line and took it like a champ. He had his hair tangled up on the branches.

Leland I think is the best character because you can build up his Stealth and Endurance and he already has pretty good strength so you can be quiet and quick while still being strong. As well as using his ability so you can knock Family down and get away quickly without having to use a slot for a bone scrap. Lvl 3 Ability cooldown is only 126 seconds. Also bone scraps are hit or miss because you can lose the struggle or another family member can come over and do an instant kill on you while you’re struggling. If you do carry a bone scrap you can knock a Family member down and then use the bone scrap on another to get away like I did on Family House when I was escaping through basement exit. I turned on power upstairs and when I got to the basement Johnny and Hitchhiker were waiting so I knocked down Hitchhiker for 10seconds and then used bone scrap on Johnny and still got out the Exit! It was beautiful!
The killers are in cut scene but the noise meter in for grandpa upstairs. Do not spam escape in beginning it's builds up meter only to help grandpa wake up faster..
They really need to fix the bugs quick. I’m so tired of my character getting basically nullified after I’ve been hit by a survivor. Can’t attack, can’t open doors or climb ladders, can’t use abilities. All I can do is walk around so I just have to leave the match early.
This is still happening by the way. Not to mention the chainsaw overheating when grandpa cutscene starts i don't even rev the chainsaw anymore until after the cutscene. Oh and the car exploit and no bleed out exploit. I really wanted to like this game but unless you are a victim main, it is a terrible experience.
I started by only playing as family to learn how to play and now watching you play as the survivors or whatever they are called. I don't think I could play as them. It seems like way too much work and too much suspense

The gas station map is terrible, the 2 gates that lead to the exits are 50ft apart and can easily be patrolled.

Like what in particular? Considering anything below tier 3 of his ability, he's pretty trash so I'd say anything in there that's "OP" is deserving of it. Most of the other family members have a lot going for them without the need for max ability skill tree.
When you're done unlocking a section of the lock (6:25), you can press R and cancel the unlocking mini game and re-enter, and it gonna reset your lockpick break meter. l don't have the game but l've seem another TH-camr doing that back at the trial version, so yeah, l'm not sure it still works, but hey, doesn't hurt try right?
Idk how anyone doesn’t know that exit through the gas station 😂 I ALWAYS tell my teammates to come that way but their so dumb they go to the electric fence I’m like dude there’s a white door in the middle and they get mad not finding it. Door isn’t op I died many times before I can get to it. Blame the killers who don’t keep an eye on the door. Door isn’t op at all. They can easily run to either fence and see if it’s been unlocked if it is no doubt someone’s over there that easy
It's insane to me that people act like the door is unfair and OP when gas station is literally split into 3 sections that make it easy to patrol ALL of the exits lmao. Literally just stick a family member in each section. I've gotten escapes through the door because the person patrolling will just fuck off and never check the door
Once that door is unlocked someone is permanently stuck camping that area because it’s too free to escape with a nearby well also. It makes doing anything else around the map difficult because of the easy baby door escape that has to be guarded. Not to mention Leland can shut down 1 killer watching that door with ease. Without voip with your team it’s an op escape anyone claiming otherwise hasn’t seen a Connie Leland duo or are victim mains
Also making a lot of noise at the beginning like freeing yourself *DOES MATTER!* It’s not about the killers knowing your location it’s to keep Grandpa asleep for as long as possible. It’s way harder to escape from the basement if Grandpa awakes before you open the basement door because then you’re still trying to hide from Leatherface, find tools and pick doors all while Grandpa keeps giving Leatherface a UAV. I’ve played matches where my victim teammates spam at the beginning to free themselves and at every toolbox and bone scrap and make a ton of noise, wake up Grandpa before we open a door and they all die because Leatherface finds them. The more noise you make the faster he awakens. It’s better to keep him asleep until you at least get the basement door open because then he wakes up no matter what anyways.
Haha I literally used that exit my first time playing I have the short on my TH-cam I thought it was a regular escape u just disable the generator 1st. Need 2 tools by the way.
That’s where cook spawns on that map I played with him n I spawned their in that room you had to open . Just a heads up so cook could be in the area if some one is him
I know about this exit because I spawn there as cook so I turn gen of lock the door and use the latch then go round so in order to get it they need to go through 2 locks and a latch

Yep. Literally the easiest dub for Connie’s. Even a lvl 1 Connie easily escapes it without perks. It needs to be nerfed significantly in my opinion.

In the movie, the gas station wasn't that close to the Sawyer house. The cook had to drive there in his truck, and it was down a long road.

I have a 100% escape success on the gas station thanks to that exit you took. The killers seem to camp the other end of the map in my games.

Happened to me a couple of times. Try turning off your controller and turning it back on. Very annoying bug though.

When you're done unlocking a section of the lock (6:25), you can press R and cancel the unlocking mini game and re-enter, and it gonna reset your lockpick break meter.
l don't have the game but l've seem another TH-camr doing that back at the trial version, so yeah, l'm not sure it still works, but hey, doesn't hurt try right?

gas station map is the only one i don’t like but i always play as a killer
Idk how anyone doesn’t know that exit through the gas station 😂 I ALWAYS tell my teammates to come that way but their so dumb they go to the electric fence I’m like dude there’s a white door in the middle and they get mad not finding it. Door isn’t op I died many times before I can get to it. Blame the killers who don’t keep an eye on the door. Door isn’t op at all. They can easily run to either fence and see if it’s been unlocked if it is no doubt someone’s over there that easy
It's insane to me that people act like the door is unfair and OP when gas station is literally split into 3 sections that make it easy to patrol ALL of the exits lmao. Literally just stick a family member in each section. I've gotten escapes through the door because the person patrolling will just fuck off and never check the door
Once that door is unlocked someone is permanently stuck camping that area because it’s too free to escape with a nearby well also. It makes doing anything else around the map difficult because of the easy baby door escape that has to be guarded. Not to mention Leland can shut down 1 killer watching that door with ease. Without voip with your team it’s an op escape anyone claiming otherwise hasn’t seen a Connie Leland duo or are victim mains

Also making a lot of noise at the beginning like freeing yourself *DOES MATTER!* It’s not about the killers knowing your location it’s to keep Grandpa asleep for as long as possible. It’s way harder to escape from the basement if Grandpa awakes before you open the basement door because then you’re still trying to hide from Leatherface, find tools and pick doors all while Grandpa keeps giving Leatherface a UAV. I’ve played matches where my victim teammates spam at the beginning to free themselves and at every toolbox and bone scrap and make a ton of noise, wake up Grandpa before we open a door and they all die because Leatherface finds them. The more noise you make the faster he awakens. It’s better to keep him asleep until you at least get the basement door open because then he wakes up no matter what anyways.

Haha I literally used that exit my first time playing I have the short on my TH-cam I thought it was a regular escape u just disable the generator 1st. Need 2 tools by the way.
That’s where cook spawns on that map I played with him n I spawned their in that room you had to open . Just a heads up so cook could be in the area if some one is him

I know about this exit because I spawn there as cook so I turn gen of lock the door and use the latch then go round so in order to get it they need to go through 2 locks and a latch
