Samuele Bacchiocci (An Adventist) wrote the book From Sabbath to Sunday: A Historical Investigation of the Rise of Sunday Observance in early Christianity. Bacchiocci's book uses the records of the events, letters and other correspondence stored in the Vatican library itself. He studied at a Jesuit University and his studies was praised by the Pope himself at the time. I wonder if this actually makes Bacchiocci a secret Jesuit? (grin) Oh look here, fringe dwellers do think that. "Fringe Adventists are suspicious of Bacchiocchi because he studied at the Gregorian University, claiming he was a covert Jesuit for the Vatican. Also, Alberto Rivera claimed approval of was given as a ploy to win over Adventists, as for similar ploys with other churches. Rivera was a fundamentalist Christian who claimed to be a former Jesuit priest, however this point and many of his other claims are discredited by most authors.
@@vee_grave I am merely trying to point out how stupid Veith's conspiracy theories about Jesuits are. He is totally obsessed with Jesuit conspiracies. The Bible is totally forgotten. Jesus is forgotten. Where is Jesus? "Love your neighbour as yourself" Jesus should be the focus, not trying to drum up antagonism against groups of people. This is how he makes his money. A conspiracy peddler. He continually says how he isn't peddling conspiracies and then he does it in an underhanded way.
