In the company of the greatest guitar players of all time.... and such a nice guy. I have met him twice in the airport. The first time I had my daughter with me and he was so nice to her. She was 14 and a violinist. She had her instrument with her and when he saw the case he started to ask her thoughts on various music that she played. He was genuinely interested in her music. The second time I met him he was sitting across and one row up from me on a plane. I introduced myself and told him about how his meeting and talking to my daughter was so great for her. He remembered the occasion!!! God it is nice to see such a superstar behave like a gentleman and be so nice to a young fan. Thanks for so much great music....

I start to drink and I want to keep doing it and can’t get enough of it. I’m proud and happy to say that I have a little over 4 months clean and sober today.

Me and my ex broke up a couple months ago I knew her for almost 6 years, she told me 3 times that she felt like we wouldn’t last, like she couldn’t see us together forever, she dated to get married one day and I’m the same way, but I tried everything to make her not think like that you know but no so after the 3rd time I ended it on the thought that I didn’t want her to torture her self even though I didn’t want it to end, then 3 weeks after we break up she’s with another guy and that guy was a “friend “ that she told me about before I later find out she was talking complete shit about me behind my back saying I hit her, treated her like garbage and criticized her over everything, she was saying this crap to my cousins which one of them was her best friend and now I have some kid bf trying to fight me bc he believed everything that was said I did everything for her and would have took a bullet for her After battling my depression and scares for 3 months, this song made me feel like I could finally take the next step and get out of the ditch I was stuck in (Edit): I didn’t expect this many people to actually care about my comment, thank you :) A lot of things have happened since I put the comment, I was struggling with a drinking problem bc of my ex and my anxiety ( I was actually drinking my depression away at 1 am after work when I commented that) I would get drunk a lot of nights could say I was kinda becoming an alcoholic, but I quit before I got worse( sober for 5 months ) and I’m currently winning my fight with my depression, I went to a therapist, got on medication, found a new job with better pay and hours, met some damn fine people and I’m starting to find myself again, even though I’m reading most of these comments 6 months late they still warm me up knowing people give a shit, thank you again :) (Edit 2) : she just texted me almost after a year trying to get back with me, the guy she cheated on me with dumped her 3 weeks ago, I told her to screw off 😂😂😂 ( Edit 3 ) : another yearly update children, I didn’t date for almost a year, found the perfect girl for me at work, everything was good, we dated a couple months then she dumped me bc she “felt she wasn’t ready for a relationship” i understood she had a lot going on in her life, but I wouldn’t say it didn’t mess with me a bit, I had some rough nights ( no drinks) I tried to get her back and that ended in her jumping into another relationship with another guy about month and half after we broke up bc she “ wasn’t ready “ ( similar situation from before 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️) she tried texting me late that night telling me She had moved on and I should to, but the only reason she texted was bc her best friend already told me everything, I just told her “ok” and blocked her ( I shouldn’t have even texted her, she didn’t deserve an “ok” ) she was never going to tell me a thing, I trusted her, did a lot for her and cared a lot for her, of course I had my mistakes, I let it all get to me a bit to much, I’m not the best guy in the world I’ve done my wrong, but nobody deserves that treatment, But no relationship is a true loss, you can’t let your gf keep you from your Wife, learn from the past and move on to something better, in the mean time work on yourself and make your self better, love yourself before anybody else- June 9th 2022 Update : been single for over 2 years and been living life, busting my ass off at work “fuck em we balling “ 🤣

I honestly wish that I could handle drinking. I’m a legit alcoholic and have been to detox twice. Alcohol and me just don’t mesh, plain and simple. I start to drink and I want to keep doing it and can’t get enough of it. I’m proud and happy to say that I have a little over 4 months clean and sober today.
One of life's big accomplishments is being able to enjoy life and have fun without having to resort to alcohol :-)

I later find out she was talking complete shit about me behind my back saying I hit her, treated her like garbage and criticized her over everything, she was saying this crap to my cousins which one of them was her best friend and now I have some kid bf trying to fight me bc he believed everything that was said
I did everything for her and would have took a bullet for her
After battling my depression and scares for 3 months, this song made me feel like I could finally take the next step and get out of the ditch I was stuck in

A lot of things have happened since I put the comment, I was struggling with a drinking problem bc of my ex and my anxiety ( I was actually drinking my depression away at 1 am after work when I commented that) I would get drunk a lot of nights could say I was kinda becoming an alcoholic, but I quit before I got worse( sober for 5 months ) and I’m currently winning my fight with my depression, I went to a therapist, got on medication, found a new job with better pay and hours, met some damn fine people and I’m starting to find myself again, even though I’m reading most of these comments 6 months late they still warm me up knowing people give a shit, thank you again :)
(Edit 2) : she just texted me almost after a year trying to get back with me, the guy she cheated on me with dumped her 3 weeks ago, I told her to screw off 😂😂😂
( Edit 3 ) : another yearly update children, I didn’t date for almost a year, found the perfect girl for me at work, everything was good, we dated a couple months then she dumped me bc she “felt she wasn’t ready for a relationship” i understood she had a lot going on in her life, but I wouldn’t say it didn’t mess with me a bit, I had some rough nights ( no drinks) I tried to get her back and that ended in her jumping into another relationship with another guy about month and half after we broke up bc she “ wasn’t ready “
( similar situation from before 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️) she tried texting me late that night telling me She had moved on and I should to, but the only reason she texted was bc her best friend already told me everything, I just told her “ok” and blocked her ( I shouldn’t have even texted her, she didn’t deserve an “ok” ) she was never going to tell me a thing, I trusted her, did a lot for her and cared a lot for her, of course I had my mistakes, I let it all get to me a bit to much, I’m not the best guy in the world I’ve done my wrong, but nobody deserves that treatment,
But no relationship is a true loss, you can’t let your gf keep you from your Wife, learn from the past and move on to something better, in the mean time work on yourself and make your self better, love yourself before anybody else- June 9th 2022
