Rehearsal non stop...your stroking keeps getting better, your speed come naturally with plenty of rehearsal too, so as discipline, cordination is intentional i.e sounds you fill your head with are what you interpret. If you naturally have a rough approach and listen to plenty busy drummers, you'll most likely fashion your sound that way. Your assessment of if you're better would come from your primary listeners first , your friends or fellow instrumentalist. Step by step you reach the big stage. It takes patience and dedication to achieve but one does not fly to fly. One who must fly must first learn to walk, then run , then fly. P.S im an average drummer but i trust myself to follow through the process.❤
