This fact comes from when there were 12 tube lines instead of the 11 we have now as before 2007 the East London Line was still a tube line and the jubilee line was the only one to connect all other 11 tube lines including the East London Line
You can actually see a small amount of daylight from the boarding platform on the Waterloo & City Line at Waterloo, in the vicinity of the depot, where it's usual to see a train waiting to enter the platform, having moved there to reverse from the alighting side.
West Ham shares a name with a football club, but isn’t directly named after it. Tottenham Hale arguably shares a name with Tottenham, but again, isn’t named after it. The same applies to Woolwich Arsenal. But also, Woolwich Arsenal isn’t a tube station. It is served by Southeastern, Thameslink and the DLR
2:44 this doesn't make any sense. There are no busy stations that aren't railways. You're incorrect. Oxford circus is not the busiest station. The actual busiest tube station is King's Cross St Pancras.
with the quitest tube station one i saw the train departure board saying ealing broadway which is the end of the central line and serves 2 other lines then i watched and found out roding valley is the quitest then i looked at my map AND ITS ON THE CENTRAL LINE
The local authorities are obsessed with vehicle emissions around London, but literally every time i take the underground, I come out blowing black, sooty snot from my nose (sorry, I couldn't think of a less gross way to say that! 👃🏾 )
No it isn't. The nearest station to West Ham United 's old Boleyn Ground used to be Upton Park, two stations away from West Ham, and the current nearest station to their present ground, the former Olympic Stadium, is Stratford.
Also, the Arsenal station is NOT named after the football club - It's named after the Arsenal Munitions factory at Woolwich. That's why the team's nickname is The Gunners.
I don’t how often the tube gets a clean but in some places it’s not very pleasant. The Elizabeth line is a step forward with the platforms being gated as it were, it could reduce the amount of dust being absorbed by the passengers. I know every station is unique and it would be very difficult to make every station like that but it might be a good place to start. Also there’s a good number of stations that are outside as it were so they are probably not so badly affected.
I changed trains recently from the Victoria Line to the Overground at Blackhorse Road. The latter is in the open air, so no problem there, but I noticed the Victoria Line platforms there being a lot hotter there than they were in the 70's and 80's.
I'm from a beautiful little village and community on the Shropshire/Powys border. I had to go to London for some work based training..never been happier to get back to civilisation. So grateful that my home is still pretty much as it was 70 years ago! The underground was hellish, people have no manners, it's like jumping on a slum train in the third world. Are we supposed to pretend that it's normal that 90% of the passengers don't or dont feel the need to speak English? I probably had one other native Brit on my carriage and she was a drunk as a skunk Brummie saying she was on a 'Leo Sayer' (all dayer).. absoluty hideous.
0:43 What about West Ham? It is mainly a London Underground station.
“The jubilee line is the only line that connects to all others”
Bakerloo, Central, and Northern: am I a joke to you?
Bakerloo-Baker St and Waterloo, Central-Bond St and Stratford, Northern-Waterloo and London Bridge
He means that those lines connect to every single other one, and that those 3 lines were just ignored
the victoria line has left the chat
@@Londonbuses315 it does not connect waterloo

I know you meant that the Waterloo and City Line is the only line that is always under ground level, but they do see the light of day
What about Victoria Line?
@@SillyFisch Northumberland depot

And the Victoria line is manly underground drives only see day light when there going to the depot and FUN FACT: Victoria line is automatically driven

I think epping is my closest station, its a bit hard to know when you live in Yorkshire

That's why I specifically said that I'm excluding railway stations from the ranking.
I use the district line most and i think the nearest station is Wimbledon
VERY COOL
How to spoil a video about the Underground. Read it in an American accent, instead of Cockney or Recieved Pronunciation.
As long as the info is accurate, it's a good video.
Womp womp
Fairs
Imagine gatekeeping the fucking tube. If an American takes an interest in the London Underground what’s wrong with that?
St John’s Wood is the only station without any letters in the word ‘mackerel’ in it
actually the W&C does see light, when it's under that grille thing light comes down inside the depot. they don't go overground though
Ain’t no way bro forgot about Ongar branch that was closed since 1994 on the Central Line + the Aldwych branch on Metropolitan Line 💀
I've heard Inspector Sands before at a station!
Everyone says he's pretty hot.

It's called Crosswalk Bounce

I wonder why the 20th April is the busiest day for the
Tube... 🍃
What about West Ham that is a football club in London
Did you know at Hammersmith or Osterley there it say Piccadilly line train go to Aldwych on peak times
4:36 what about mill hill east
Inspector Sands is the worst kept secret message ever! Only ever heard it once personally though.
I heard it at Edgewhere Road. A few min's before they announced the Queen passing.
Going to harrguy on Christmas week well be staying there for a week
I use the old est train jubilee
District Line or Piccadilly

It’s only a public subway
the northern also connects with all tube lines so ur wrong
Yes, unless they are including the other modes in that, as the Jubilee also connects with the cable car

Every single tube line except Waterloo and City, District and Metropolitan connects with every other tube line

WRONG! T he oldest logo in the world is the TATE & LYLE Lion design dating from 1888.
West ham is also named after a club.
No the area is called west ham, it's not named after the stadium
No it isn't. The nearest station to West Ham United 's old Boleyn Ground used to be Upton Park, two stations away from West Ham, and the current nearest station to their present ground, the former Olympic Stadium, is Stratford.

That's Woolwich Arsenal. The actual Arsenal Station on Piccadilly line was renamed specifically after the club moved to that area.

Think you need to re research this and do it again, a lot of inaccuracies

You said the word Waterloo and then circled London Bridge
This not all true
