Awesome! Not only does this #geocache have great camouflage, the internal "maze" is really amazing. I did find one like this once and was quite impressed. Thanks for sharing!
@FaithHopeLove1988 its not burried the guidelines state that if it requires a shovel trowel or point object to remove from the ground its not permitted
@BrunswickSilver The cache is made the way it has some holes in the bottom, so the water won't fill the cache. And it's been there for almost a year in every weather condition, still the same container... Thanks for watching! :)
It does not require the hunter to DIG to find it. They simply uncover it from its camo. Just like any other cache. Great mind bender. I've got a buddy who is in such a hurry he would blow a gasket with this one. LOL
@awilsor3 the definition of buried doesnt back it up. its not covered with dirt or any other natural material,. but you could get away with creating a hole by pulling up a small tree, or removeing a rock to hide the can in... but according to groundspeak its only out of guidlines if they used a shovel.
Idk if its the best but still amazing and the pple who think its buried are wrong because the rules say you shouldn't have to use a tool to get it or dig it up and in this case you don't need a tool
Its against the rules to bury caches, but that means to completely bury them. Caches are stuck in the ground all the time. Its against the rules because then people would have to use a shovel and dig up a bunch of holes. But... if people got it banned from locations, they must have been told the land owners/government or whatever didn't want that kind of cache. St. Louis doesn't allow ammo cans or PVC pipe caches.
Caches may not be placed in a specially dug hole. ie. it must be placed somewhere, can be covered with leaves and stuff.. but you can't make a hole to hide a cache. See Rules: See: Placement. (Fundamental placement guidelines) I.1.3.
@awilsor3 it is but it can also be fake.. either way its only covering it up like you would with peices of bark, same concept... after all its just guidelines, not rules, ive found plenty in natural holes voered with bark or sticks, so a lot would be out of the guidelines
yup. we found a burried cache and that was still are favorite even though the rules say they shouldnt be burried. if there were a give-a-way like a geocache logo on a nearby tree i thik it should be allowed. they do take longer to find but thats the fun!
Its not buried as much as it is camouflaged, i cant tell you how many ive found that were covered in pinestraw. He didnt dig to find it so it wasnt buried
I believe the restriction is that the Geocache cannot be buried in the sense it needs a shovel to unearth. You should not need ANY special tools to get to a Geocache, and I would recommend that include a ladder (just for safety's sake). The idea is you should be able to find it through hunting with just your wits and observation, not with screwdrivers, drills, metal detectors, etc.
Keith Bradbury it's does not matter wether if not u need a shovel if u did the hide a geocache quiz. Don't hide it underground because one lady did the police saw it and thought it was a bomb and was going to blow it up but luckily one police officer knew what geocaching is.
If this cache was placed after 2002 it is not a valid cache. If you had to dig using tools to hide (or find) it is against the rules. It is a cool looking cache, however it should have never been allowed by the reviewer.
@JACKinHIGHDEFINITION also states that if ANY pointy object is used in HIDING it then it is against the guidelines. i think its stupid, but my caches have been called out on it too.
You won’t believe me but I found geocache who is behind my school behind my school Was a Field and there’s a stage I went by the stage and there was two rocks on each other stacked so I picked one rock up and I found geocache I did it with one of my friends and they said how did you find the geocache then I brought my nurse friends over and they said you put that there and I said no I didn’t put that I found it
Good idea, but....... The geocache guidelines state: "If one has to dig or create a hole in the ground when PLACING OR finding a geocache, it is not allowed."
So is this a valid geocache or isn't it? Because I made a simple version of this from PVC pipe and was wondering if I could publish it. I had thought that you couldn't hide something that needed to be dug to find, I didn't know you couldn't hide something like this. Someone please give me answers.
I have seen things like that. but they always blow up.
Lmfao
Tropic Thunder hands?
Same I hate when they put it in a landmine
Awesome! Not only does this #geocache have great camouflage, the internal "maze" is really amazing. I did find one like this once and was quite impressed. Thanks for sharing!
Excellent!! Great creativity that went into that one.
@FaithHopeLove1988 its not burried the guidelines state that if it requires a shovel trowel or point object to remove from the ground its not permitted
"Buried caches" means that you have to DIG to find it. I see no shovel or pickax needed. This doesn't violate guidelines.
Heeeei, this must be in Slovenia.. noticed the paint bucket is "belinka" ;)
Got to find this cache!
No lie that is the coolest geocache ever
id get mad and try to rip it out of the ground.
cool geocache and interesting idea with the geocache hope you make cooler ones in the future too! 😊
This is super cool
@BrunswickSilver The cache is made the way it has some holes in the bottom, so the water won't fill the cache. And it's been there for almost a year in every weather condition, still the same container... Thanks for watching! :)
Who’s here in 2023?
hahaha, that looks really frustrating
interesting idea. I may copy that one.
It does not require the hunter to DIG to find it. They simply uncover it from its camo. Just like any other cache. Great mind bender. I've got a buddy who is in such a hurry he would blow a gasket with this one. LOL
are you kidding me!!! this is awesome. you are very creative.
*gets muggled

my expression during the whole video= o.O
That was awesome!
I love it!
Can somebody telll me what this is. This is amazing and I want to make a cache like this!
Very intresting.
That is just plain devious!
A mi me daría miedo, parece que cuando llegaras al final, va a explotar una bomba :S
I never woulda thought of that! I hope I never encounter a bomb, since I would be clueless! 😏
geez laweez I hope there were no muggles around that one.
Lux video....
Idk if its the best but still amazing and the pple who think its buried are wrong because the rules say you shouldn't have to use a tool to get it or dig it up and in this case you don't need a tool
I totally agree!

Ya "Some Caches" the Geo-caching "Guide lines are a joke" and in many places you have to be "Part of the local Click" to get a cache finally listed!
Very cool 🥰
That’s a cool one, seen some similar but not as complex here in Michigan. Thx for sharing
sick i want to do this now
That is awesome
Oh My Lord!! - Freaggin awesome!!
GENIAL.......
Thats a rellay cool cache ;-)
Nice, dobr da si povedu da je to pri nas, bom moral enkrat it pogledat.

@awilsor3 it wasnt burried so its perfectly fine
I remember a guy found something like this, and he had to pry the lid off of the sprinkler decoy... just to find it was a real sprinkler
that is so cool!!!!
Dude! What is that orange thing made of??? So cool!
That was awesome!!!
thats just awesome
@awilsor3 it is but it can also be fake.. either way its only covering it up like you would with peices of bark, same concept... after all its just guidelines, not rules, ive found plenty in natural holes voered with bark or sticks, so a lot would be out of the guidelines
No Geocaching stickers... AKA Muggles fear bombs
swear your not allowed to bury them!
Dude. That's sweet. It will certainly keep it from being Muggled! ;)
Its not buried! Good cache.
The bottle has a log sheet in it, you sign your name on it and register it as a found cache on geocaching(dot)com
yup. we found a burried cache and that was still are favorite even though the rules say they shouldnt be burried. if there were a give-a-way like a geocache logo on a nearby tree i thik it should be allowed. they do take longer to find but thats the fun!
Imagine if someone trips over that lol
Correct me if I am wrong but upon getting your geocache accepted it states that nothing should be buried?
Cache cannot be buried, neither completely or partially. Groundspeak rules.
Good idea though.
Lucky this one was placed in an existing depression in the ground then.
Its not buried as much as it is camouflaged, i cant tell you how many ive found that were covered in pinestraw. He didnt dig to find it so it wasnt buried

And.....
Maybe he just happed to find a hole in the ground that just happened to be the same size as his Geocache.
"Buried caches" means that you have to dig to find it ***** OR HIDE IT******
Just dont step on it, and you should be fine 💀
@PirateAgonistes
A point object was required to hide it though.
Silent film....LOL WOW whats up with all the complainers? at least its not a micro or a pill bottle.
I liked it.
I thought you couldn't dig? It is pretty cool tho!
If this cache was placed after 2002 it is not a valid cache. If you had to dig using tools to hide (or find) it is against the rules. It is a cool looking cache, however it should have never been allowed by the reviewer.
+Marshall Lee I had to dig a hole to hid 2 of my caches and the reviewer didn't say anything
Ik
To my understanding of the rules. Its only burried if you need to dig it up.
Cool
just aika vaikee
Hahah f i had to figure out that code i would probably just hit it against the tree until it broke but still cool
@JACKinHIGHDEFINITION
also states that if ANY pointy object is used in HIDING it then it is against the guidelines.
i think its stupid, but my caches have been called out on it too.
Isn't it forbidden to bury the geocaches?
bravo!
Muy bueno el sistema
Open it!!!!!!!!
Adresa
You won’t believe me but I found geocache who is behind my school behind my school Was a Field and there’s a stage I went by the stage and there was two rocks on each other stacked so I picked one rock up and I found geocache I did it with one of my friends and they said how did you find the geocache then I brought my nurse friends over and they said you put that there and I said no I didn’t put that I found it
I wonder if geocache are still a thing?
WOW
WoW
I thought you weren't allowed to bury stuff?
Good idea, but.......
The geocache guidelines state:
"If one has to dig or create a hole in the ground when PLACING OR finding a geocache, it is not allowed."
PLS DONT PULL SOMETHING IN THE SOIL
what is the difficulty?
Not worth the trouble ... looks like something that goes boom 💥
So it was a bottle of prescription pain meds or what?
was there a note?
Technically that is against the guidelines,... but I still like it! :)
So is this a valid geocache or isn't it? Because I made a simple version of this from PVC pipe and was wondering if I could publish it. I had thought that you couldn't hide something that needed to be dug to find, I didn't know you couldn't hide something like this. Someone please give me answers.
its a revomaze thats so smart
once you've found over 8,000 caches like i have, you'll find some better than this. interesting, but definitely not the best.
Why is it technically against the rules?
get a shovel
@darkeyce02 Are you saying moss is not a natural material?
how are you suposed to find that?!?
If that was in Germany, rewiever "Eigengott" would be happy to archive this cache, as no diggin' ist allowed by GC-guidelines...awesome cache anyway.
cool :)
It's not digging of the hole was already there
what state/town is it in
@cornfedz probably steel
Bro what difficulty is that
were is this
Wow! That's mean...
just saying it starts at 0:03
