Again this is why I love the comics! As I said before of course it has been established that the main Boom Comics series are set in a different universe/timeline separate from the main continuity which allows them to do stuff like this! I seriously can’t wait to see where we go from here! 😊
So Zordon gave his old semi sentient body a choice. Continue being rita's lap dog for dark spector and possibly his avatar or be your own man and make your own choices?
This is why I like Melissa being the successor to Ryan in this run of Power Rangers. Twist and turns galore, plus I do hope we see Jason return in is story to help out his fellow rangers, and who know, melissa might, and I use the word loosely, might give Jason a master morpher from the morphin masters to return as a ranger called King Tyranno Ranger.
Gonna admit I didnt expect the Vessel to be his own self aware being...and Im all for it! Was really nice to see that he isnt just another mindless Minion Rita can just use for herself. After reading all this Im not sure anymore that Dark Specter is going to succeed in taking over Zordons body. He seems to not even want to become Dark Specters vessel, but rather wants to be complete...to be Zordon again.
Zordon put doubts in his mind, so lets see what he wants to do next after the talk

Zordon is the TV seems almost too perfect and never to be questioned. The comics one has quite a bit of self reflection even if he is still rather stern with the rangers.
When zordon met with the emissary’s I thought what they meant could of had more meaning. As in when he finally dies and spreads his essence with the z-wave he won’t be able to join them and they live throughout time so it made sense to me kinda like when the. Blue emissary was talking about in different tenses.

They need to actually make this into an animated series from shattered grid all the way up to here it would be amazing
Kinda disappointed that they didn't follow up on that last bit of the previous issue but seeing Zordon argue with his own body and ultimately convince it to be its own person made up for it.
The stuff on 107 will get followed up in the Drakkon one shot.
I’m a bit confused, the Vessel mentions that he’s infused with Morphin Grid energy and that make’s him powerful. But I thought being infused with Morphin Grid energy is the reason why Rita couldn’t be a vessel for Dark Specter, so why is this ok for the Vessel? I think I’m missing details about the difference?
So if Tube Zordon is his consciousness then how can Body Zordon aka the Vessel have thought and do all that? Did Rita in a way make a new Zordon consciousness.
She much explains it at the start of the issue.
@Deoxy360 Still doesn't say how he has a consciousness despite his consciousness being the tube. Rita had to have made a new one which isn't to far fetch sense she can straight up make monsters from clay.
Im assuming that they will adapt the turbo movie at some point and dark specter will take Malagors body after the rangers defeat him.
I don't think we're gonna see Turbo adapted for a while.
Zordon is even more awesome in the comics.
