      it will help you
      I want to say one thing
      when you are lost right and not going anywhere there is no pressure on you
      but when you find your way to god the devil starts to put lots of pressure on you to turn you are from Christianity or god
      so keep at it
      it is ok to make mistakes 👍🏿(●'◡'●)😁

      When you are ready to accept Jesus as ur Lord and savior, Ask God what Church he wants you to Go to as their are many Church buildings you can choose from And God will lead you to the Church that will help ur spiritual growth and relationship with him, Just remember a Church Building is just a Building the one True Church are Us as the Body of believers and we gather up in Many churches buildings not just one type of building. If any man try to tell u their church building is the only true church then don't believed him as the Christian Church is not a building made by the hands of man but the Church Jesus started is within all Believers as we as Believers is the Church Jesus started. May Jesus Guide you and Help u along ur Journey.

    1) Relationship with God (real rights/access and real responsibilities)
    2) Be there exteriorly and interiorly (ie truly present)
    3) Consistency (faithful and steadfast)
    4) Keeps commitments to God and other people

    Fr Mike you're the best. It's so cool to think that there are so many people watching this as I'm watching it, and so many people who will watch it, and we will all be touched by something different... Through one message, God will speak to each of us in the way that applies to us. Thank you for your wisdom 😊❤

    Hay guy's for the past few months I've been asking people to pray to keep abortion out of Ireland. Unfortunately the good guys lost this one. I just wanted to thank you for your responses and for taking part in this prayer campaign. As catholics we must continue to place our trust in or Lord and Our Lady and they grand us victory. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND STAY IN THE FIGHT 😆❤🕇

    • @unassailable6138
      @unassailable6138 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Tom Andrews So Lucifer's (Satan) rebellion was part of God's plan? No, because God created angels and then men into his image, which means we are endowed with freedom of choice and we can choose good or evil as Ireland did. God created men from his infinite kindness to share His divine life and love with us for eternity, however people are also free not to choose this, such as Satanists, unrepented murderers, abortionists, etc.

    Fr Mike...so full of energy and joyfulness, yet so practical and to the point. Thank you. What struck me most is CONSISTENCY BEATS INTENSITY. I try to commit myself to daily Mass and prayer even when I am loaded with work and out of apetite because as we need frequent snacks of food to keep alive we need frequent substenance from the Word of God. Also walking with other fellows who are trying to be faithful to the Lord is highly essential. In my daily prayers Father.

    Thank you for making these videos. It is actually ironic, because I had a argument with a atheist today, they wanted to tell me how christianity is not logical, and I told them how christianity is absolutely logical, for we have artifacts, books written dating back from the moment of occurence, and much more. To make this short. I wanted to see how to be a better christian after this argument, since I have been away from jesus for some time. I had many issues with myself for years now, nothing bad, but just did not feel right. then I found this channel, and your words in this video, explained everything, and perfectly clear as I never had before, which had me understand why I found this channel. You truly are Gods disciple, and I simply had to say thank you for all your efforts, sometimes we all question if our efforts ever reach our goals, so I wanted to tell you that today you have, through you, god has reached me. What I learned just now is, I should embody myself in a better mental focus, live by setting the example, and the most important part is to be consistent. all three things are exactly what I have been having issues with, especially being consistent, and just by doing those three things, I understand that my problems are solved. So I want to say thank you for helping me, and I will certainly come back to learn more. God Bless you

    Amen. The current climate prevalent is a focus on friendship and diminishing of Awe Reverence Acknowledging the Compassionate Authority of God. But when we do, we desire with joy to observe the Precepts of God with a cheerful giving disciplined life. Yes? We help one another grow in this type of consistency, instead of thinking following is a chore. Yes, sometime it's not easy, but doesn't, the more we desire the steps of discipleship give a certain interior joy that wasn't as present, before?

Just a comment on this great video: it's important to specify that being a good disciple of Jesus is also following Christ's Great Commission to "go and make disciples of all nations". Christianity is not about judging people and thinking you’re better than other religions and people. It’s about loving God and praising him doing your actions in everyday life and inspiring others to do the same.

      I agree that Christianity is not about thinking you're better than other people with different beliefs.... but where in the bible do you see that "It’s about loving God and praising him doing your actions in everyday life and inspiring others to do the same".... there's a lot more than that.

      Thank you Matyas Belina for your kind words! For example, I try to be there both internally and externally when I pray but many times it feels like I'm not really there even though I'm trying to be. It's like I'm trying to pray but I cannot focus, I'm just repeating the words of the prayers.

    • @CatholicGaming
      @CatholicGaming 6 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      I recently started praying the full rosary (all 4 sets of mysteries daily). I have found this to be life changing. I recommend just starting with one rosary a day. It is hard, but say the rosary, think the mystery. When I interiorly announce the mystery I ask, “Lord let me enter into Thy Agony...”. I pause for 20-30 and try to allow God to move me toward one aspect of Christ’s Agony (or whatever mystery). I sometimes will get a profound thought, but sometimes it’s just me thinking about Jesus bleeding...sweating blood for me and my sins.
      I hope this helps. Before this I found it difficult to pray the rosary, but now it is a joy on the profoundly and not profoundly moving days. But, there are also challenging days where I don’t feel like taking the time. Those are the times where God really shows me some profound aspect of His Most Holy Life through the rosary.
      In almost all of Mary’s approved apparitions, she says spend 15 minutes praying the rosary, and there is a reason for that. I have found mediation as the great combat against the devil, temptation, and my own wants. The more we focus on God, the more we lose ourselves in Him. I know from my own life that I focus more on me than God, mediation is the only way to break that.
      Please keep me in your prayers. My name is Jimmy and I am applying for seminary this Fall.

    • @CatholicGaming
      @CatholicGaming 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Also, I completely understand what you are going through. I kneel down to pray and receive temptations almost instantly. But, after a few minutes it ends. The devil’s power is finite. God’s power is INFINITE!!!

    • @pauiinalag9832

      Me too, usually I feel very connected to God when I'm praying the rosary but sometimes I feel nothing. I know the devil wants me down and praying to God asking Him to give me strength and to protect me really helps.💙

    Haha! "What a wierdo". I think a robot took over you.
    Anyway, thank you so much, Fr. Mike. Everyday is a work in progress. When in prayer, I hate to then start thinking about something else. I do tend to be aware of when I'm not there, and make a more earnest effort. Of course, without Christ, we can do nothing.
    God bless you, Fr. Mike.

    Hi Fr. Mike, could you make a video on why we need Catholic priests. The question is typed in caps and is for everyone in the comment section below to answer. So this is my thinking: Some people say that the the traditions in the book of Leviticus are obsolete, so therefore the priesthood is also obsolete. Jesus is our high priest, and what's the point of having Catholic priests when we are all priest? The old system is now obsolete and a new system is to come. Jesus fulfilled the tabernacle plans, Hebrew Chapter 9:10 -18 his death initiated a new system/covenant. “In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. What is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.” Hebrews 8:13. Inside the tabernacle, there was this sacred place where only the high priest could go in, but after Jesus died, there was no longer a division between God and man. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHY WE NEED CATHOLIC PRIEST? I get that the Bible said hold fast to traditions but I am confused because we don't even follow the Old Testament laws/ tabernacle (traditions) anymore, so are we REALLY keeping the traditions??? AND IF THE OLD SYSTEM (in the Old Testament) IS OBSOLETE THEN DOES THAT MEAN THE PRIESTHOOD (which is also in the Old Testament) IS OBSOLETE TOO?

    Friends, the bare minimum for commitment/consistency is roughly 52 hours per year. (One Saturday evening or Sunday Mass per week plus Holy Days of Obligation like Ash Wednesday, Christmas and Easter). We should all be able to commit to that, yes?
    Some folks work more than that in only a week.
    Peace be with you!

      Quantifying it, Jolane...what a great perspective (except, the 2 hour Holy Thursday mass...we can all make an exception) I've gone to New Year's Day mass...really nice.

    I had to make a commercial in High school. I played Britney Spears & my partner played Babe Ruth. We sold milk. True story.

      Basically I drop a milk carton, sing oops I did it again & go to pick it up. Meanwhile my partner comes along & gets mad because it happens to be Hudson Bay brand milk that I dropped & is about to beat me up after I sing Hit Me Baby One more Time until his number is called to home plate just inside Yankee stadium & it ends there.

    Consistency demonstrates how much faithfulness someone has, but consistency does not define faith, right?

    I have a question- in the New T. there is a story of this couple who lied to the apostles and they died and it says we should not pray for these, I have tried to get commentarys but no one knows what this means.

    Can u please do a video on the weird new age stuff, postive vibes, negative energy . Should Catholics be sending positive vibes people's way?! So many of my Catholic friends are saying it, what ever happened to 'I'll pray for you' ?!
