Man I watched this unfold live on insta. Pretty nice experience is what I’d guess came out of this, and good thing the siren isn’t damaged and it’s only a control issue.
This reminds me of when I went to a thunderbolt in dimondale MI, after the siren wound down I could hear an rsh-10 going off for about 4 mins longer after the thunderbolt went off. Not as long as this, that's for sure
@@thespiritstingray9359 yea kinda figured that'd be one loud ass fan if it could be heard over the the chopper also just shows how massive the choppers are to make such an aubable suction sound
I know this is 4 years old, but what is the address of the malfunctioning siren? Was curious of the location, even though the Trevor fire Department appears to be closed.
You're correct, when the p50 was activated, a relay In the controls welded itself shut, causing the p50 to sound in alert mode for 30 minutes, someone from the fire department had to use a ladder to reach the emergency shutoff switch, this p50 will not be replaced, but it will get a new control cabinet
Holy flamingos and penguins A30Minute test I would prefer A 1 minute I want to go see a thunderbolt But I still heard the P50 going off And it was really annoying me So I just decided to ignore it Play 30 Minute test who put the siren up They should take it down By 30 minute test is really crazy!!!!!
8:43 that Doppler effect was creepy

IKR

Holy Toledo! A 30 minute alert! That's an extra long siren test and also an epic one!! A very interesting event to experience!!!
This happened actually because the timer got stuck.
@@budgie508 actually its because the starter relay welded and continued to supply electricity to the siren no matter if they sent deactivation tones
I wish I was there! You guys are so lucky that you caught that! 😃
Holy mother of FOAMING.
The Trevor P-50 got Coronavirus tho.
LOL
*the
Oh forget about covid crap
Lol
I like how you can hear a Aca P-50 from a Distance in Trevor thats Really cool a d Loud
i cant stop reapeating the doppler effect part
Nice video, seems like a interesting experience for sure lol!
I wander if that weird warbling sound you hear when the head is facing away from the camera is the cooling system for the motor
Jordan Young it’s not. The sound is the chopper sucking in air so it can chop it with the stator.
@@thespiritstingray9359 yea kinda figured that'd be one loud ass fan if it could be heard over the the chopper also just shows how massive the choppers are to make such an aubable suction sound
@@bodes_26 that just goes to show how powerful these sirens are. More air = more sound.
It's also the shroud/projector vibrating I believe as well
Awesome video!
It Definitely looks Nice
30 minutes uninterrupted is insane

Nice video!
Nice! The radio must be broken
If the radio was broken the siren would have just stopped at 3 minutes. The issue is most likely something to do with a timer malfunction.
Sirokat oh
Sirokat A motor contactor welded itself shut
looks like you recorded an extended tornado siren test
Wow That ACA P-50 In Trevor Is Still Running In The Background Maybe It's The Contral Cabinet That Is Mount Function

Epic video!
This was interesting
Did they fix the paddock lake p50?
no sadly its replaced by a whelen wps 2000
@@Dogappel convenient
@@DogappelNo it wasn’t replaced these sirens are maintained by Fulton
Nice! The siren must be fixed!!!
YEP!!!
That could not have been good for the siren itself having sounded for over 30 minutes
Well piru California does 15 minute monthly tests in wail and apparently used to do 30 minute tests granted they have a 2001 DC and srn not p50s
P-50s are absolute units. Those suckers can run all day every day with no problems because the heavy duty motor has a fan to cool it down.
@@coltenfritz413 And continuous duty motor.
Still not good for it tho.
@@Kasey1776 It's fine. Motors in factories run for hours.
