He wants to ask them what made Oden so special because he wants to be admired by his daughter, too. While Momo struggles with living up to his father Oden, Kaido struggles with living up to the expectations of Yamato.
i love how that remark of marco seeing something that he'll go back to check was put in the manga in such a small panel that can make you easily miss it, and yet it could be the most important part of this chapter for the future

Most of post time skip chapters are deep of you really break it down, the reason we only found a few is because most of the time, Oda planted a japanese wisdom (which is harder to translate to another languange). Library of Ohara does a great job in breaking every chapters down, especially in pointing references etc (if you're interested)

To be honest Sawyer, your the main reason why I enjoy One Piece at this point. You are able to explain theories with credible facts. I lost interest after the time skip due to its pace and the manner in which it keeps providing foreshadows in such a obscure or vauge manner. I read a chapter and I am left feeling lost and confused without an actual idea of where the story is heading to next. I am jealous that many fans enjoy the series more than I do because they can see what I cannot see. In other words, I do not see the brilliance of one piece until I watch an amazing video on TH-cam that analyzes the chapter in depth. I think since Kaido wants a war more than anything he might've just wanted to join in on the fun at Marineford. Shanks being the sensible man that he is thought better not to let Kaido join the fight because his goal was just anarchy and WB wanted to save Ace.

Most of post time skip chapters are deep of you really break it down, the reason we only found a few is because most of the time, Oda planted a japanese wisdom (which is harder to translate to another languange). Library of Ohara does a great job in breaking every chapters down, especially in pointing references etc (if you're interested)
You know Sawyer what I really like about your chapter reviews is how neutral/objective you are. Most other reviewers tend to project their own narrative and enjoyment on the review, but your reviews are pretty much free of that. You make keen observations about what's happening and do good research. Combined with the small humorous touches you do that makes for a quality review.

Yeah this makes Kaido more 3-dimensional. I assume that Oda planned on Kaido having a son or a kid. It's pretty wild to think about those 2009 leaks that said Zoro was Kaido's son. They also called *a whole lot* of stuff, and the ones that were correct or not changed by Oda couldn't have been a coincidence. Also makes sense since he's giving Zoro ties to wano

To be honest Sawyer, your the main reason why I enjoy One Piece at this point. You are able to explain theories with credible facts. I lost interest after the time skip due to its pace and the manner in which it keeps providing foreshadows in such a obscure or vauge manner. I read a chapter and I am left feeling lost and confused without an actual idea of where the story is heading to next. I am jealous that many fans enjoy the series more than I do because they can see what I cannot see. In other words, I do not see the brilliance of one piece until I watch an amazing video on TH-cam that analyzes the chapter in depth. You do in fact put a lot of hard work into your videos which keeps me enjoying the series. For that, I will always be grateful.
I'd love for Ace to have some sort of romance there with Yamato, but wouldn't be sad if it was just a somewhat platonic thing.

May be in some way Kaido knew that Ace was Roger's son. So he thought that Ace would know abuot Laughtale and planned to kidnap him, as we know that he is obsessed with that subject as well.
