Ah here i go again. I had trouble with the previous factory update and now... Everything is good but there is still a part of me wanting to go back to the caveman times of islands
The tanks are good for monitoring how much output you are using. If you hook up too many things, the tanks start to empty, indicating that you are using too many devices on the Pumpjack (Oil) or the Oil Refinery (Petro).
me and my friend when the update comes out: 1.go see dv's livestream, go in his publish island 2.after dv's stream go and find lots of ppl to buy lots of red bronze and steel plates 3.get confused by the update ;-;
DV, petrified petroleum is useful because when you use it on machines they will go faster, for example: if you put petrified petroleum in a drill it will go 1,2 times faster than normal. If you hover your mouse over it it says that.
The machinery update was kinda confusing for me, but after watching this vid everything is clear, ty. I farmed all the stuff required and took me like 6 hours per day, 2 days bc I already had a whole lot of steel, copper and gold ingot.

you can just use a item sorting system for the tree replanter and saw thingy you just need an input-output chest full of wood then the saplings will fall through and you can have a convayor there leading to the replanter
@@KarlCo. try investing into seeds or auto farms, I first started I started farming of course that situation is quite hard if you want a easier suggestion autofamrs it will take some time, you will need some steel
If this is the quality of updates now then i hope the next update is a building update that adds more building blocks for example they should add glass for every colour rather than just red, yellow and blue and they should add copper blocks, i hope there is either a building update or a permanent pvp island
I am so happy that I was in the middle of making my auto red bronze farm, now I just have to set up my steel press farms and other farms lol gonna take a bit to make but it’s all worth in the end.
yeezzz im happy I havent sold or used my steel plates things and copper things and allll my red bronze... now i had over 500 bronze ingots when the update came out... quite usefull lmao

9:58 , that is not true , the conveyor is for the conveyor , the right for right and left for left because it’s a bug it just shows all 3 of them works , but it actually doesn’t , because when you look at it , you had 200+ conveyors , but less then 100 of each right/left conveyors so my point is that the left if for left , the right is for right , and the conveyor for conveyor (normal)

I had been playing this game for a long time on my phone. :( Very slow and super glitchy, so I stopped for months. Got a pc and now I can move around and not glitch. As for the new things, I gotta do things the hard, slow way. Yep, it takes a long time to make the things you need for sure. I wanna know what tree you have there on the top of that portal section. Need industrial smelter to make copper ingot which is a process. In the midst of doing this now. Steel press, make steel rods, make smelter, then start copper smelting and so on.

Petrified is worth it !!! If u put petrified fuel in camp fire and coal in other and put iron in both petrified fuel will smelt faster !! It’s reaaaaly useful for drill that drills gold
I’ll use the fast conveyors for my race track :) Edit: I have the perfect deposit setup two gold literally 10 to 15 blocks from each other and copper 10 blocks right co I’m gonna be rich soon when I get my refinery!!!
Dom gives us some more money than 100 of the crop in the crate you would normally get from selling to Tom, and for tier 2, if you wanted the exact amount, if you multiplied the amount you get from a tier one crate times 2.92, aka 292 of that crop, you would get the exact amount of money you get from a tier 2 crate. Tier 2 crates hold 292 crops.

I stopped playing ever since the oiled crops update due to it basically causing an economy crash due to duped items being removed. The only hard thing to make in this is basically the tier 4 workbench

They are also good for transporting petro to other machines that need then like the tree shaker or sapling planter

We need item filters, you could filter the saplings from the auto tree cutter into the auto planter so no need to replant saplings manually

New players no need to push for tier 4 workbench it’s just slightly better tools that you won’t need until late game

They should make it so that oily crops should make oil but it’s a different type called low quality oil.
Lol no, that makes no sense. The conveyors make the crops oily so if anything conveyors would require oil to work.
Atleast the dev should reduce the cost the workbench

you can use auto planter to fully automatic auto wood farm bc industral lumbermill don't repland saplings

My tier 2 crate packer works without oil. However there is the option to add oil which is super confusing.
I knew how to do it but I found a few things I did not know so thank you

Islands is one of those games that have TOO MANY updates, if you quit for a bit and come back ur gonna be so lost.
