Hello, i have to admit this Video is great! I really enjoy playing NW alone simply due to this Community.... anyway which Greatsword should i use instead of Serenity? I can't manage to Level PvP track since i don't want to be in a Faction.
I'll have to give this a try. To solo, I've been using Havoc with leeching as the third perk with runeglass of leeching jasper. Then leeching flurry on rapier for an emergency heal. But my main defensive perk is 5x grit ward with 300 con, so the damage output isn't great, but you don't have to think much lol. Going to have to find some new enchanted ward gear. Thanks for the cool idea!
I had solo'd these in light equip with Mjolnir/BB because they can all be KD'd/stunned, kill time would be alot faster.. the GS solo build shines alot more when you try solo bosses on Isle in EW for example. (Yes I also see that you setup is aimed for expedition tanking ^_^) And if you are actually solo'n those bosses that cannot be CC'd, you would be camping in GS tank stance and spam Rupture -> heavies anyways. Going SnS with a shield that has "Counter Attack" would up your damage by tons because it does activate when you block in GS tank stance via heavies - so between Serenity, relentless rush empower, counter attack (and if you wanna push it, jasper runestone) you would almost always cap empowered even in defiant stance. I personally skipped the ultimate in Defiant tree (blooddrinker is enough healing) and go for the CD reduction ultimate in Onslaught instead - makes Rutpure very spam-friendly at ~6 heavies per.
Yeah I think there's a few solo builds out there :) That's strange if counter attack on the shield is triggering when using the greatsword, sounds like a bug, I mean, feature xD
What are some replacements for Serenity? I'm not exactly trying to spend the next week or two doing pvp when I haven't ever touched it, all for a single artifact.
Whats the point of this? From what im seeing your needing high end gear that requires a group to even get lol. So that you can solo mobs that drop worse gear than what you needed to do this to begin with? I appreciate the video but maybe im just missing something here?
Hey! So the main reason you might want a build like this is to allow you to farm elite enemies that would usually require a group to farm. A lot of artifacts (scorp sting, Lifetaker, Boltcaster etc) drop from open world elites that are normally hard to kill solo, but can be hard to get a group together to farm as most people who want the artifact have already got it.
I've just gotten new world, i know, super late to the party, going to level using this spec, is that a good idea? Starting on the new player only eu server.
Levelling is fairly chill in this game, so you can really use any build/weapons you want. I'd just try out all the weapons and see which you like best, then level with that :)
@@AverageEcho I was wrong, sry. The higher healing numbers I saw where do to the 15% Increase in DMG not the 30% of healing, they do not count to your weapon perks, I think.
@@extraordinarymiso Not really, enchanted ward gives a lot more damage reduction as most of the damage you take with be classed as light or heavy attacks.
Hey, I've never actually tanked the worm so not sure on the exact build. I know it generally involves tanking with a ranged weapon, normally bow, and a sword & shield for the scorpion phase.
@@AverageEcho Need DPS build (BB-GA- INT weapons for me personaly). But it's better for different types of weapons. Thank you again for your thorough explanations. This is very valuable for me as a beginner.
@@ВасяСкрудж Your welcome :) For DPS builds, the key thing is to make sure your team has enough rend, by having a variety of weapons with different skills that apply rend. I don't think BB gets used too much for the worm. Rapier gets use a lot as its high damage, you could use Rapier and IG if you wanted an INT build.
How do you get the purple attributes in like the dexterity into the character attributes... It says "item buffs" but I can't find the item to add it.... Returning player I'd appreciate if you can let me know it's driving me nuts as im 288 str, 125 dex and 146 con
So the purple is your attribute food (either +40, +44 or +48) plus any magnify gear you are using. If you are using lots of magnify pieces, in order to get the split, you might need to assign the magnify pieces to highest (in the drop down on left on attribute screen), then keep adjusting attributes bit by bit so it evenly spreads out the magnify across strength, dex and con.
Nothing has really changed with the build for the new season, you can use as is. You can upgrade gear to 725 but all the gear and perks can stay the same :)
The irony in a solo anything build that requires an artifact you need to have a group to get...
Not much worth having is gonna be easy to get. Might have to do something you dislike to get it, like socialize, but it’s worth it.
@@AesthMedmaybe to you

Thanks! :) For an alternative to Serenity, I would just look for any greatsword with Trenchant Strikes or Trenchant Recovery.

You could just use a normal greatsword with trenchant strikes, that's the most important perk. Could even pair with venom to add some extra damage :)
i preordered the series X version and i cant wait to get into it.
Welcome! :)

Should you not use medium or even light armor for higher self healing?
I think you would loose too much survivability going light / medium. You need to be able to tank some hits to then heal it back up.

any update in this build? still viable?
Yeah build is still viable

Could this be used as tank build for mutations and raid etc ?
Could be used to tank m1s and m2s yeah, and maybe m3s with a few adjustments. I wouldn't recommend it for the raid though.
@ okay thankyou, working towards serenity so hopefully can build this soon

could you post a new world buddy link
Does this build still stand?
Yup build still works as is :)
Can you still split 200str 200dex 200con?
I can only get 200 202 159…I’m missing a couple 700 gs but should be closer
Yeah you can, sounds like you might be missing attribute food
Ty…with a tribute I get it 😉
what armor are u using with
dark void plate
The rest of the armor is shown at 2:29 :)
i cant finde any of these items that i can famr 1 of these items...
can i solo the worm with this?
It's good, but it's not that good :)
@@AverageEcho So it can not solo anything.
Where to find the bued armor?
I believe those were just random drops from mutated dungeons
How does this work in pvp?
Not very well haha - I only tried it a couple times in OPR but it didn't feel great

Solo M3?

Because of these solo builds, noone plays with others in open world to do sth together for pvp and pve...
lol solo build to farm items that requires a group
