These are all great picks. Jeff Parker's run was criminally short. They were such great adventure stories that made Aquaman's world feel massive and mysterious. The Sub Diego arc was also fantastic. It introduced one of my favorite Aqua Family members, Lorena. I loved her as Aquagirl and I have been rather sad that she has not made a return in the New 52 or in Rebirth. I do hope we see her again soon. I do have some hope since Dolphin was just recently returned. Time and Tide is a great book. Short, a great look at Aquaman's history through his eyes, and you see Aquaman hook up with a beautiful Inuit girl, Kako. A great look into how Aquaman thinks. The Waterbearer arc is phenomenal. I loved how things started to take a more mystical and magical approach (I love the magical side of DC). Aquaman gained some amazing new powers and the story was fasinating. I have not read Death of a Princes, so I cannot comment on it, but it is a crucial part of Aquaman's history and I am trying to find the trade that is not disgustingly expensive.
I feel like all Aquaman comics are underrated. Except the Geoff Johns run which is good but not even close to the best. Also, Time & Tide was collected in it's own TPB. I know because I have it, but I bought it in the 90s so maybe it's been out of print for awhile.
Question. If Aquamans mystical magical water hand had all these special abilities why couldn't it help him survive out of the water? That would've been better than those hideous god awful hydro pants he got from batman. Wasn't crazy about that run to be honest.
Ah, young padawan - so you just don't grok stories from before Watchmen? You are talking about the era when comics were actually literate, whereas after the early 90s they were decompressed and finished in five minutes. Well. I guess it's a generational thing.
I personally loved Geoff Johns aquaman and I thought the it was really good next to peter David run
Saw title of video, assumed New 52, and then you called out my assumption in the 1st minute. Well done.

What run would be the best according to you, then ?
+WULFF DEN can you do a top 5 Flash comics?
It disturbs me how he never stands with his face and body directly facing the camera
not even in handheld mode XD
He has a really bad scar on his other ear. He's very self conscience.
I came down here to say the same thing.
@@enknot ahh i see. That explains it a lot! Thanks for the clarification
Haziq Josli how would it disturb u anyways some other people on TH-cam don't always face the camera
Wow thanks for not putting this in the ol' sub box, TH-cam! Nice 20 minuter Will, this needs more views
The Best Wulff Brother. I am inspired to read more aquaman comics besides the Johns run. Although I do plan on reading the Kelly Sue Deconnick run.
Her comments made me concerned for her run, but y'know what. I'll read it anyway because he's my favorite superhero
Awesome vid 👍
Best review ever
I love your content, Will. Maybe you can do a video of the best comics of 2018?
I have Death of a Prince as a DC Deluxe Edition over-sized hardcover. And, J was hoping it would make your list of 5 !

Hey I love your vid
Wasn’t Death of a Prince 1974?
I need to know what that 60s dub was
early history must have not been that eventful. I see they have 2 different Aqua-Man to work on witch makes it harder.
Why are his aquaman videos so long
Will told me to watch this on 1/23/20
same
I just don’t get the hole aquaman rage right now
Why u got to sit at an angle it freaks me out
You too? Why can't he just face the canera
You too! Why can't he just turn and face the camera?

Talk about a Talk show
hi
Gamemnae would be pronounced Ga-mem-nee. Soft "a" and emphasis on the middle syllable.
You take too long to reveal the content you are trying to deliver smh
This video could have been 10-12 minutes long
You’re telling me
Why are his aquaman videos so long
That’s a very good question
Because Aquaman deserves it!
