Ancelotti Is A DISRESPECTED Tactical GENIUS - Here's Why!

- On this week’s WYW, we’re turning to Real Madrid, who once again have gone deep in the Champions League, despite losing out to Barcelona in La Liga. Los Blancos’ track record in Europe has seen some people dismiss their tactical nous, attributing their success to “heritage” or “vibes”, but Carlo Ancelotti has done a spectacular job this season, dealing with his aging trio of Modric, Kroos, and Benzema by developing Camavinga, Tchouameni, and Rodrygo. But what exactly has he done? And how does the Italian show up other top coaches, like Klopp and Arteta?
Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Pat saying Vinicius & inshallah floored me 😂😂
Same bro 🤣
Somebody needs to ytp this
InshAllah*, God bless you in Jesus Mighty Name Amen 🙏🙏🙏
Never thought id hear Pat say “inshallah”😭😭
Last week he said jeugo de posicíon😂😂
😂
Hearing Pat say "Insha'Allah" is possibly the greatest moment in the history Football Daily
Ancelotti has performed so well this season, especially considering the lack of quality backups for long-term injury absentee Mendy and a very injury prone Benzema. Rodrygo has completely transformed into a must-starter and Asensio has become a reliable goal scorer and consistent attacking threat. All this with Vini maintaining his incredible form from last season where Ancelotti transformed him into the beast he is now and all the other youngsters getting better too (Militao, Valverde, Camavinga, etc.) Love Carlo
W take
Carlo's supposed "arm around the shoulder" type management has won 4 UCLs, won the domestic leagues of the major footballing nations in Europe at least once , and numerous other cups. This man is an elite manager. Let's put some respect on Don Carlo's name!
This video is hilarious considering the results🤣
This video aged like milk 😂
Well timed video
pep be like : how cute 😂
This aged well
Aged like fine wine
What sets them apart is that madrid never gives up no matter the score or time.
They gave up after about 25 minutes tonight mate
The Camavinga leftback experiment has genuinely floored me, Bernard Silva notwithstanding. He and Carletto have been excellent 👌 with that. And I must say, Rodrygo has been impressive as well 😀.
Whata coincidence. I just asked my madrid fan mate "what does ancelotti do?" He said that "ancelotti trusts his players" 😂😂
Anchelloti has the power of friendship
One of the most underrated managers
Ever
The FD curse is back 😢
Please make a video on Pep only way city is gonna lose 😂
Next week's episode: "Erling Haaland may actually be able to score at a Premier League level"
People also doubt Zidane’s football views even though he smashed 3 UCL’s back to back, I can’t even believe it happened 😂 like 3 years no club could stop them? 😮
The trouble is the standards of real madrid are so high that even missing out on 1 trophy is deemed failure
I cant lie i was one of the first people to say Carlo was a vibes merchant, but hes proved me wrong and this vid just shines even more light to what hes improved us in
He's been a top class manager for over two decades. How long ago were you calling him a vibes merchant?
Very interesting
It's been 5 hours and this video did not age well.
Aged like milk
Did anyone doubt him to begin with?
Yes he was heavily criticised by players like Robben when he took over from Pep at Bayern.
Love at how 6:15 you predict Carlo winning “only one actual trophy” for the season when instead they went in to win all of Europe in an epic campaign! Case in point that he is severely underestimated.
Love the Mazzy Star shirt!
Ucl review from efd needs to be a show on fd for the post match reactions
As soon as you start referring to expected points it’s a lost cause, stats are irrelevant if you’re still second
Terlalu percaya diri pada akhirnya real Madrid cuma jadi pelengkap sebuah permainan saja
Good vid but rodrygo wouldn't match vini even if he had 20 goal involvements. Vini has 44 or something right now already
Vinicius and In Sha Allah is top tier commentary 😂😂
Who TF is doubting Ancelotti?
good coach very bad tactician. Pep can make it with a small team he has a vision of football and ancelotti not
@@mhs3963 The guy has won everything almost everywhere. His resumè is second to none. Madrid lost emphatically against City yesterday and that’s a fair point. But literally no manager this season has been able to beat city, they’re just too good and Pep isn’t a bad manager at all. Personally I have no reason to like Ancelotti (NUFC) fan here but you can’t deny his beastly resumè
@@ryanwibisono4147 Thomas Frank beat city
@@maz7824 to a cup, the only side to do that was Nathan Jones at Southampton. Everybody can beat anybody on their day mate
I think Erik ten Hag has also shown a good amount of adaptability and tactical innovation to deal with injuries and other difficult circumstances (such as the Casemiro suspensions) like Ancelotti. Examples of this include playing Luke Shaw at left centre back to cover for Martinez or Bruno in a 'quarterback' 6 role while Casemiro was suspended.
No, just no. Don't even mention his name in the same breath as don Carlo
@@GK-bl4pg it was a comparison, didn't say he was better or worse. Just said they have both shown a lot of tactical adaptability this season.
@@byronmealin he's definitely worse, waaayy worse. Still no
@@GK-bl4pg want to back up your statement with an actual argument? You're just saying things and not backing it up lol
@@byronmealin you're asking me to back up a claim that a four time champions league winner is in a different league than someone who hasn't even gotten to the final in his career?
Who is this?
feel like im being gaslit into the idea that no one in the world rates real and thinks they are crap. no one i know thinks that
Because it seems like all u guys view only British media.. Fam I encourage you to stop out that box.. Hala Madrid
@@JRD876 you clearly didnt read what i said
Yes @@oniondesu9633 I read what u said... I'm with u
Facts, Reals weakness was exploited Carlo had asked for another ST and reinforcements in the fullback positions and city exposed that hope Perez owes up to his mistake and brings Carlo what he wants
No need for the dig at klopp😢
Posting this before the city game is damn risky
Fede Valvedre should had been mentioned..
carlo should get more years on his contract 👍✅
Letting him leave would be such a mistake. He’s building something solid. Give it time and a couple signings and Madrid is as scary as ever
This is so untrue, I guess everyone can make football channels now
Lucozade and a pep talk...😇
I Heard inshallah & subscribed
this video was really poor timing Pat lmao
I hope Cellabos stays, great midfielder
ppl forget ancelotti finished 10th with everton three seasons ago, who have now been fighting relegation since he left. idk where ppl get that he’s just a man manager from and has no tactics. same thing w zidane
Not just 10th but 59 points without fans. Everton are the most fan reliant team in the league and in some seasons 59 points would get you 5th.
He was also sacked at almost every club he managed.
@@footballhipstertv he is also the only manager who has won the league in each of europes top 5 leagues and has the most ucl wins of all time. when peps career is over he will prob be regarded as a greater manager tho
@@matthewwils he's never in his career managed to defend a league title despite managing one of the best clubs in every top 5 league and always with massive budgets
@@footballhipstertv i mean idk if that says a whole lot considering the competition in spain and england when he was managing there. he won the league his only year at bayern, got psg their first title in like 20 years, and has still created several pretty legendary sides
Harry Kane teaching us about Real Madrid
❤
He has managed for 33 years and only won 4 ucls
“… Gave the impression that Real were the Sevilla of the UCL”. Of course, because Sevilla have won more UEL titles than Madrid have won champions🤡
Imagine, Julian Nagelsmann as Real Madrid Coach. Would be cool if ancelotti left Real Madrid.
‘Sometimes helped by dodgy referring.”
Thank you. They’re very good - VERY good - but some of the referring decisions which have gone their way in the recent past are just incredible, and people should acknowledge that. Luck always has outsize influence in such tournaments. Not every single time, not every single match of course…but sure as hell more than enough.
You mean like the City goal that should never have happened?
@@clauslarsen8971 THE BALL WAS IN
while I do agree that luck has a playing factor in the later stage of these UCL games, I also don't agree with how you have taken away Real Madrid's merits for their UCL gentrification in the last 10 years just because you don't it could be done with no lobbying or influence, all you're saying is the same tired argument that Madrid'srecent UCL glory was helped by luck, there is no denying that those moment exist if you're team was winning 14 UCL's I am sure we will find some questionable moments that will eventually be deemed luck by other team supporters
@@footballhipstertv clown
Nice video and good for Carlo. Still, laliga is weak and Barcelona wasn’t playing great football this year, so it’s not that impressive that Real is close to them on expected points.
la liga is so weak that a weak team like Sevilla clap united ass to the reality.
wrong the tactic is pass to vini and he does everything what a player he is
First
Vibes, Vinicius and Inshallah 🤣😅
Hahaha predicting they will lose to Man City. You contradict the whole point of your video. You forget that Real Madrid are Reyes dela Europa! Hala Madrid!
He is shameless
Its true, they didnt lose they got decimated
Lol
What do you mean this video aged like milk? Does anyone even watch videos till the end these days?
Buncha keyboard warriors...
These titles are pathetic. Even if I agree with football daily I'm wrong?
Ancelotti fixed that...Zidane fixed that
where is my award.... I am the first one here LOL
non sense
6:15 Real are just about out the UCL... Mhmm... Interesting.... I see u not hiding ur biased

Manchester City to win tonight!
Highly overrated.
same thing with Pep,even as a united fan i tend to disagree with a lot of people about pep
You know the "oh he never managed anyone below champions league or champions standard,he always had massive amounts of money in transfer windows" blah blah blah...
Those pep comments are a bit justified tho
@@JRD876 not really tbf, look at potter for example, got a lot more than even pep,and now with or without him that chelsea team will finish outside of TOP 10,chelsea outside of top 10 bro?
Give pep that chelsea team i am pretty certain he finishes top 2 with them
