Back when the FIA would actually make sure to deal with these things during the race or at least shortly after. Nowadays they just change the results 5 hours after the podium celebration.

@alimantado373 nah max still tries to go for the apex even if it isn't his, like cops 2021 with Hamilton. Max was on the outside but they were next to eachother and bc Hamilton has the inside line max needed to back off. He didn't and he crashed.

Kimi didn't throw anyone off the podium, the FIA informed Ferrari/RB of their decision, Kimi/Ferrari just told him in the cool down room. But that was a very enjoyable moment I remember 😉

Haha this mofos only showcasing half of the whole incident Kimi himself admitted the overtake was brilliant and there was a gap to overtake but obviously four wheels went off the track and he lost the podium fairly to

Sometimes a point can be made without physical violence or words being spoken.
In this case, it was a clear threat/warning and that stare down was similar to what a dog owner gives to their dog after it crapped all over the carpet.
The owner staring at the dog with that “Yeah, you know exactly what you did and you better have a really good reason for doing what you did because if not…”
While the dog, knowing that it screwed up really bad this time, recognizes the impending doom but can only stare back with that look of guilt, fear, and shame…

the FIA made the right call (yeah that felt weird to type) and Max got a 5 sec penalty for cutting the corner.
Ferrari got word of it before Red Bull did hence the awkward events you see here.

They had a whole conversation and no one heard a word
Raikonnen sent nobody off the podium, the FIA informed Verstappen that he received a five second penalty and the therefore Raikonnen finished ahead of him…something which Verstappen was not yet told as it was not yet known!
The clown Verstappen went on to win 3 championships dethroning the king Raikonnen with only the one championship but trailing a number of other former kings!

Max is not a clown, he did not know about his mistake at the time. The FIA at the moment needs change because Mercedes and Lewis get away with too much, they always seek blame on others for their mistakes.

That move from Max was absolutely unreal, really Senna-esque and it would have stuck back in the day. It's a real shame he just went off the track with it. He really deserved the podium that race. Good thing it was all rectified in time so Kimi could actually get his podium though. Too many drivers have been promoted to podium a day or two after a race.
