So just wanted to point this out but when Pinkie Says "what are we gonna do Twilight?" and she replies "the same thing we do everytime Pinkie try to save the world!" that's a shout out to a popular old cartoon called Pinky and the Brain.
I truly appreciate and love your views regarding cozy glow. Every other reactor wanted to go easy on her because she's a "child". I understand their reasoning but at the same time, Cozy knows what she is doing. She also had several chances to make things right. She is a threat! TAKE...HER...DOWNNNN!! :-)
Remember what Discord said about being turned to stone..he could still hear and see everything around him..so they are stuck there with each other, seeing everyone passing by, knowing time is passing for the outside world around them. Also, with the time skip..Applejack was wearing Granny Smith's shawl, and Apple Bloom was wearing Goldie Delicious' , kind of makes it even more somber thinking about that.

When I saw Grand Pear and Pear Butter, I started crying even harder, because he was finally able to tell her that he was sorry for everything, and they're able to be a family again.

The best way to describe Discord's "boo boo" would be for me to use a quote from Shark Tale. "No, not sorry...'Sorry' is stepping on somebody's fin (or hoof in this case) at the movie theater. 'Sorry' is saying to someone 'hey, when's the baby due' and it turns out the person (or pony) is just FAT! THIS...This is as FAR AWAY from 'sorry' as you can possibly get!"
While his methods were...poorly thought out, I actually understand what Discord was planning. Next to Fluttershy, Twilight has had the most severely low confidence levels of anypony in Equestria. Even after so many victories and successes, she STILL views herself as a failure. It's like with Steven Universe after the timeskip, thinking that there's no such thing as a happily ever after
I've said this same thing on other reactions of this finale, but about Discord's plan. At 26:13 he says 'it made so much sense in my head'. Given who he is and what he represents, that should have been a 'Tsunade wins the lottery' level of red flag (Naruto reference in the off chance anyone doesn't know).

Heck, I had to watch Applejack's little walk by at least 3 times while specifically looking for him to notice he wasn't. Oh yeah, the pony from Season 4 who gave her her key of honesty.... sadly there was a lot of characters missing from those “memorial backgrounds”. I wish they had at least included Lightning Dust and Raritys Parents

Looks like a lot of years have passed since Twilight's coronation which explains why Canterlot looks different, the growth of Spike and Twilight, some characters have grown up, and some of them have baggy eyes. Gallus has become a new member of the royal guards. Maybe now he has a better life. Spike mentioned the Diamond Dogs. We haven't seen them since the first season, we didn't get a Nightmare Night episode with the student six, and we didn't get to see more parts of the crystal tree house...>:-( I hope we will in the next generation. If Applejack is wearing Granny Smith's neckerchief and Applebloom is wearing Goldie Delicious's neckerchief that would mean they have passed away along with Grand Pear?...:'-((( How sad. Granny Smith and Grand Pear would have been very happy if they knew that they became great grandparents. Oh well, at least Applejack and Applebloom will experience what it's like to be aunts. And I hope Limestone Pie and Marble Pie will be nice to their niece, like Pound and Pumpkin. I also hope that Pinkie's parents are still alive and they'll also be nice to their granddaughter. And since Twilight is the new ruler she could cast an age spell on her friends to make them young again. And that memory book Starlight gave to Twilight, looked similar to the book Hagrid gave to Harry at the ending of the first movie. So how to go on now? Will the new series start with the opening of a new book? What about Sunset Shimmer and the Sirens? Will they be part of the new series, and will the Sirens get reformed? Well as Sunset would say: I may not know what the future holds. And according to Equestria Daily G5 will have mature content. Does that mean G5 will have great battles, violence, and blood? I hope so. And speaking of blood, when Fluttershy turned into a bat pony Pinkie mentioned vampire ponies. A lot of fans want to see those kind of ponies, so I hope they will appear in G5 and the vampire ponies will have red glowing eyes, like in Vampire Knight. I think if a bat pony family would move to Ponyville, they could find jobs as Nightmare Night decoration makers. The foals would be happy to buy some decorations from them. We'll just have to wait and see.
Grogar was Discord in disguise all this time? What an unexpected turn of events. It's true that he gave Twilight some lessons in the previous seasons, but there is a matter of taking things too far. Looks like he dosen't knows when to quit. In my opinion when Chrysalis was defeated in the season 6 finale, she should have accepted Starlight's offer and became the reformed leader of the cangelings, and not seek revenge because it won't get you anywhere. Even Kakashi told that to Sasuke. I don't know what kind of treating Cozy Glow got that make her act like a psychopath, but when she turned into that giant alicorn she became a monster both inside and out. I'm sure her parents would send her to a correctional facility, but if she's an orphan she can stay petrified. And Discord mentioned Tirek's father King Vorak. So my question is: will the villains get another chance and get reformed in G5? And are we going to see the real Grogar, King Vorak, Queen Haydon and Scorpan? I think if the villains are freed in the next generation, then the best way to reform them is realizing that it's not worth being all powerful because they'll still be alone. Sunset told that so Midnight Sparkle. During the battle it was good to see that Flim and Flam also helped the ponies. Maybe they'll turn over a new leaf. And characters from the movie appeared. I hope we'll see them in the next generation including Neighsay, and Tempest will get her horn fixed. At the doughnut shop Rainbow said, the beginning of a more awesome era. We'll have to wait and see what is going to be in that era.

Trek001 in that moment, I was feeling emotional for all of the characters being shown, Sunset included. I was happy to see all of them, and kinda felt like talking too much would spoil the mood a bit

He only came up with this plan when celestia said well need a few days to have twilight be ruler & u see discord being suprised in the background and then when h3 said it was predictable, he went away snapped his fingers and decided to be grogar. they obviously meant just season 9, and he said ofc they were real meaning he didn't make them up but he was a safety net being around so they wouldn't be in real danger. Discord came up with this plan only when he saw after every victory twilight confidence always shattered so he reasoned like he said "After Defeating 3 baddies twilight will have to believe, shes the leader we all know she is". Meaning he saw that after this she could never doubt herself every again
