What does it mean to pursue a “worship experience?” How do we balance the tension between being biblically faithful and expecting God to meet with us in power? This is my first time listening to this podcast. I’m a cessationist and this episode definitely challenged my perspective on experiences. Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m on the extreme side that focuses on “doctrine only”. I think there has to be, though, a balance between solely chasing after experiences versus delighting in the presence of God and what that feels/looks like. This was really refreshing to hear and I’m looking forward to the next episode! 🙏🏻
