Hollow Knight bashout here, you already got some tips but I'll give you more :) I enjoyed the video and hope to see more. 1. Spamming doesn't work in this game, you'll be punished for trying to blitz through enemies without timing your attacks. 2. Movement in this game is not very harsh, but is not forgiving. I can see why not having traditional abilities like dash or double jump at the start is frustrating, but trust me the movement is something you'll appreciate over time. 3. You will get lost. That is part of the game. If you can't do something, access a place, etc. you probably just can't yet. This game is super interconnected, so you're probably not "stuck" you're just trying do something you can't yet. I won't say anything more. I hope you enjoy Hollow Knight, and keep your eyes peeled for lore, cause this world is loaded to the teeth with lore.

the game is crazy fun later on it adapts to you as your skill improves just always try to get your shade back as it will leave you broken forever ( when you die your shade spawns )
tip 1: try to focus more which heals u . Basics: ur hp is called masks and beside ur masks is ur soul meter u get it from enemies and ur weapon is called a nail . tip 2:three swings of nail gives a heal . Tip 3:u can swing ur nail upwards and downward which u need to jump to do downward u can pogo enemies and it can boost up a bit and u can pogo spikes. Shade:A shade is thing u leave when u die ,when u die ur soul meter will be broken and can only 2 times if full kill ur shade and u get back ur geo[ the currency in the game ]and ur soul meter will be fixed if full fixed gives 3 heals. thats all i can do come back to me if u still need help😀😀.

it’s WAY! easier to play with a controller btw idk if you have one but i would def connect one to it if you can because a lot of soeedrunners and etc use controllers because they are way easier. and hollow knight is one of those games where the more you play the way better it gets, it’s all interconnected and it’s one of my favorites.
