It's exist in many flagships really they just most likely don't use it in a right way. I noticed it only after six months of using the phone in the alarm clock application)
Sounds entirely plausible. But the same could probably be with playing an audio clip of the word when you run your finger over it. And resolution isn't an issue with that.
I have seen that technology year ago on DIGINFONEWS a channel from Japan. :) I really recommend that channel ... I seen many things that they are presenting right now.. Seen 3d screen glasses free and 4k screens first introduced by panasonic (or philips?) I mean its all predictable now...
They're just afraid to adapt to change. I bet the controller is amazing and, honestly, it has potential to be one of the best gaming controllers out there. I just want to use it for myself.
oh my god!! thats awesome!! but please make technology deliver smells and stuff you know like when you are watching a movie about war you dont wanna just see it , you wanna smell how nasty it is :D
@@nadeemshaikh7863 The XR uses haptic touch instead of the past 3D Touch. So technically it does have haptic touch, but its nothing to the extent of what this video demonstrates.
They still do. Stop being mad that a product that wasn't meant for you doesn't fit your needs. Its not like their video game production team was used to design the controller anyways.
And the moral of the story is: All this thing's possible only on Android.... never on iOS.... Apple will be like.... "yeah we need this technology but sign in this paper stating that you wont sell this technology to Microsoft or Google"..... and even the demo was shown on an Android tablet....
Whoa this is 9 years old... Is it to expensive or why does this technology doesn't exist in today's touchscreens ?

I want this tech in a Gaming gloves so you can feel virtual worlds, weapons whatever!
would love this on Wii U
Awesome tech good thinking this could help alot of people
People are saying that technology will be on Nintendo NX control. If that is true, it will be very cool.
The question is: Does it lag like the normal touch screens?
The Blackberry Storm had a feedback of buttons even though the phone was a touchscreen,
touchscreen Braille for the blind
So PS5 finally caught up to this huh!!!
Ooh my god, this is amazing.
How does 2020 feel?
@@cloroxbleach6343 Suppressing the urge to hang myself 😅
Is it granular enough to do braille?
@m4fo ...possibly... the sensation may not be quite as pin-point and direct as that required by Braille.
is it so good that you could add braille to it?
I was thinking the same thing.
I remember a tiem when sega made consoles
Valve loves you, and I love you.
@3y3n5tyn It's not a virtual app. It's a small motor mimic the texture and vibrations of touch. You would need a new tablet.
Interesting, I am curious wether this will be implemented :)
Exactly, this and BCI is the kind tech that I want now when Oculus rift is comming.
wow, this is magic
Awesome.
Could be of use for braille writing for the blind
The possiblities are limitless and it will definitely be implemented into a tablet in no time
Sounds entirely plausible. But the same could probably be with playing an audio clip of the word when you run your finger over it. And resolution isn't an issue with that.
This could make virtual joysticks and buttons actually work, being able to feel resistance under you thumb and fingers.

Valve revealed a controller that utilizes this technology 10 minutes ago. People already mindlessly hate it.
Does it support Braille script? would be great for blind people

Hello I'm from the future. I can confirm that this kind of technology exist in all of our pockets in 2020.
They're just afraid to adapt to change. I bet the controller is amazing and, honestly, it has potential to be one of the best gaming controllers out there. I just want to use it for myself.

@@JeeperCreeps yes I have also seen it.
@@JeeperCreeps it didn't but where did you hear that?
@@nadeemshaikh7863 The XR uses haptic touch instead of the past 3D Touch. So technically it does have haptic touch, but its nothing to the extent of what this video demonstrates.
It's almost 2020, we still don't have this and touchscreens are just touchscreens.
The new iPhones have haptic feedback...
@@avn4975 Never heard of this.
Hyper X3M search up “iPhone haptic feedback”

2024 Still waiting...
It's been seven years, going on eight, and no further developments? What gives???
My guess is prolly too expensive or still not perfect enough for daily usage
And the moral of the story is: All this thing's possible only on Android.... never on iOS.... Apple will be like.... "yeah we need this technology but sign in this paper stating that you wont sell this technology to Microsoft or Google"..... and even the demo was shown on an Android tablet....
