That song really grown on me. At first, I just loved the chorus and MISA's bass parts (and the lyrics obviously) but after listening several times, I really liked Akane's drum parts and Kanami's work on guitar. "about Us" reminds me a little bit of "At the drop of a hat": acoustic guitar intro, similar vocals, Akane's marching band kind of drum beats, MISA's groovy bass and that fantastic (one of my favorite) pre-chorus which recalls the chorus of "about Us". Earlier, I preordered the limited edition Blu-Ray. Man, that is expensive! It says that the second disc will feature 5 tracks with special camera views for each individual member. They were using those cameras for "Manners" chorus in the livestream I guess. I don't know what quality to expect with the other songs of the livestream. Can they improve the audio mix and the video quality? I hope so. And more importantly, are they going to let the long "Choose ME" intro and add subtitles to the entier performance? Because they were talking a lot and, like Steven Tyler said: "I don't want to miss a thing" Thank you Mr B 🙃

About all they did in post-production was bring the bass forward a little, and the vocals seem a little smoother. The DVD/Blueray of this show will be out on May 26. Can't wait. Beautiful song.

Hopefully the pandemic will turn out to have had a silver lining for them. Seems like they got a lot of new fans because because people had extra time stuck at home to explore those suggestions on the right side of the TH-cam screen. Just imagine if the algorithm had suggested Band-Maid to people watching rock in general instead of just Japanese groups.
The other benefit is the Ladies have had over a year to just practice and write music, their last tour lasted 2 years cant write much. Now they have had almost 14 months to practice all be it remotely at times and just write new music and lyrics. I feel once all this nonsense of the past year is over they will get their chance to truly shine globally given they have new label and agents, same ones that handle BabyMetal IIRC that can only bode well for them.

Amazing song, this and Nemophila certainly picked me up today while i was in hospital having my treatment and i will be getting the Band-Maid live dvd regardless of how much it cost. Seen a few people on fb complaining about the prices shipping cost, yeah shipping costs can be expensive i get that and i won't be ordering dvd (after getting the Nippon Budokan shirts ) this week as i just ordered some Nemophila stuff the other day. But Band-Maid are awesome and the live stream was viewed in 67 countries
