The thing that trolls like you take far too long to realise is that a well run business will always cover their own ass and come out on top. Matchroom made a lot of money in the 5 vs 5 and the losses were not from any of their big name fighters. In the Matias fight they also had Paro, so will simply push him more now and make a unification fight for more money 😂
If the Dubois fight falls through, Joshua-Zhang is the obvious choice. Better style match-up (not for AJ, in terms of entertainment) and actual history between them
I thought the ibf were going to allow Usyk to keep his title for the Fury rematch. AJ Dubois will probably be for the interim title I think
Why are people talking like Joshua-Dubois is a done deal? High percentage chance Usyk keeps his belt for Fury II and Joshua fights Zhang.
Hearn knows who AJ is fighting but while AJ trains for him the opponent won't be told yet so AJ has a huge advantage, it has to be Dubious, but why not announce it ? Surely he's not ducking him

All valid points from Hearn to be fair. Haney is burning bridges with one of the few guys that has publicly backed him, especially given how much Haney & his dad get laughed at in the boxing scene despite the achievements, Eddie kept it real with the media & always spoke sense on Haney's behalf. Also agree with Bob Arum re Skakur, let fighters go out & explore to see what their real value is. The DAZN bubble has truly burst, even Saudi can't prop it up

Nobody wants to see another AJ vs Usyk fight it's already done, Usyk won both fair and square, so before anyone says " But THIS AJ can beat this Usyk" or "Third times the charm" , no just no and if Usyk beats Fury again and Usyk wants to stay in the ring for a bit longer he should fight someone else, someone new or rising up the ranks or active always , for example Parker, sure he lacks ALOT of power and he doesn't let his hands go but his other stats are pretty high up and I think if there is one thing Parker has that Joshua and Fury don't have or more of and that's willpower or spirit, well that's what I believe.

Lewis got knocked out by two Journeymen, Furys only ever lost once in a close fight to the very best, most these past Heavyweights of the 70-90's have 6-10 losses, Holyfield over 10 losses, Ali 6 losses, Mike Tyson 6 losses etc i think most boxing fans overate fighters of the past and are too hard and unappreciative of modern fighters.
All the former champs had many more fights than Fury. However,Fury is the only one mentioned in your post that was banned for two years for using Peds, nandrolene in particular 😢

Fury beat Chisora when he was unbeaten, knocked out Dillian Whyte, took Wilders 0, ended Klitschkos long run as champion, knocked out Mcdermott in the rematch, beat Steve Cunnigham, beat Otto Wallin when he was unbeaten, some good names there if you ask me. Had a close fight with Usyk, regardless of what people say about resumes his trilogy with Wilder will go down in history as one of the best and most entertaining fights of all time at Heavyweight in the modern era.. people don't go back to look at resumes they remember entertaining characters and good fights, thats why people remember Gatti Ward, thats why they remember Prince Naseem, thats why they remember Mike Tyson, it's all about entertainment, no one cares how great Lennox Lewis resume was or how good Larry Holmes was, they remember entertainment and Fury is one of those guys and will be remembered more for that reason. Same with Wilder regardless of resumes he was entertaining knocking everybody out and he will also be remembered for being involved in the greatest fight in the modern era of Heavyweights. Not many people go back to look at resumes decades later they don't care they just like excitement.

That's a decent summary of Fury's career. I'd have left out McDermott as this win has no real value other than putting an exclamation point on the doubts left after their first fight, I don't think McDermott was ever a World rated Heavyweight and he already had multiple losses when he fought Fury & Cunningham beat no Top Heavyweight Contenders before fighting Fury, even Wallin's resume was questionable at that time and still isn't great but at least he's now beat Gassiev & Breazeale. All of the other names you mentioned had beaten other Heavyweight contenders so they deserve their mention. The problem is Joshua has beaten more fighters of this level such as Whyte when he was undefeated, he stopped arguably a more motivated Klitschko, beat Joseph Parker to unify, beat longtime top rated contender Povetkin, avenged the loss to Ruiz, beat another longtime top contender in Pulev, and beat Wallin much more convincingly than Fury (I didn't include undefeated Charles Martin or Dominic Breazeale as they had some luck to get where they were and I never really rated them as Top Heavyweights) and with Fury having had the poor showing against Ngannou and now having lost to Usyk aswell it means you could rate Joshua above Fury among this generations Heavyweights. Usyk has now obviously beaten both Joshua & Fury so he is a clear number one for now.
