Moving the pci cursor to follow the ball on legend mode is challenging because have to move it and press the button I can’t do both at the same time so I leave the cursor where it is. It might help if I get a control freak but I’m playing mlb the show 16 on the ps3 RTTS. My player is hitting .304 and I just snapped a 14 game hitting streak. My technique is to not swing at pitches outside the zone to the best of my ability and only swing on hittable pitches if a ball is clearly thrown at the center region.
Great video! Appreciate you sharing these strategies with us! I do use Contact Swing early in the game when I have two strikes on me. Helps me build up pitch count and keep at bats alive. I'm not elite and would rather extend at bats and put the ball in play then wiff

I appreciate that! Stay in custom practice itll definitely help! Also make sure to play ranked, don't care about rating and only care about you vs the pitcher and I promise that will help you as well!

Pre pitch alot of it is just read react trying to get the ball movement as soon as possible, my thumbstick I normally like to hold it a little in when it's lefty on right but right on right it's middle and glide the PCI to the ball! Appreciate the feedback!

I struggle most with the fastball . I don’t know why but I’ve never been able to get it down and it makes everything else harder .

One question I have is how many hours have you spent in custom practice if you had to estimate
Too many to count lol I skipped 22 but 21 is where I did alot of lab work! This yr I spend time in there for about 5-10 minutes a day at minimum but in 21 as I was making improvements I was in there almost an hr a day

Yoooo I just started playing the game and noticed that most competition use Zone, but I haven't seen many talking about using Timing instead of Zone. Is there a reason Zone is preferred?
It gives you the most control to be skillful

Just curious. Haven’t been a regular since 14 the show.. why not guess pitch? That way if you guess slider away and he has a change and 2 fastballs obvi you can sit slider away and sit fastball if your guess pitch indication doesn’t flash
Guess pitch doesn't really work ever anymore it's mostly a feature now to see what pitches they have to hit RT now
SZ or SZ high batting camera?
Mostly preference I just switched go SZ high yesterday and love it but between those 2 it's very preference based! Both very very good!
