Wouldn’t a more realistic reason for why they can’t just kill Bonny in this situation be that all of her changes to age will revert upon her death, therefore meaning if she has already kept the goresei alive for centuries mean the death of Bonny would be the instant death of them too.
That's probably why they captured her to keep her save instead for her to roam around as a pirate putting herself into danger. Just like the 'bad mother' did with Rapunzel.

Still believe Kuma is on a secret mission for Dragon. Part of that mission has to do with getting close to the Celestial Dragons. Being they slave is the best way & since Kuma is immune to pain makes him suitable for the job. I believe Kuma told something to Dragon that made him so certain to declare war. Kuma is the Itachi of One Piece.

@007 It does make sense when you add everything up. Secondly Kuma didn't have to do anything the World Government told him. Kuma is extremely powerful & a member of the Revolutionary Army. Him just letting them mess with his head doesn't make sense.

I highly doubt she is Zoro/Luffy level but she was the only female in the supernovas which were filled with big time rookies so she does deserve some respect and she honestly shares some similarities with Big Mom which might be intentional by Oda.
@@gibran6190 she manage to bypass Zoro's instinct pre timeskip when he was gonna kill that world noble and knocked him down... she could've easily tuned him to dust by aging him to the point of death. In that arc is also shown that she can literary use her age manipulation powers at range to since she changed a bunch of marines into old mans and todlers... all pre timeskip too so now she should have better control of her powers. As a rule in anime Time and Space users are usually broken so don't let that she appears weak fools you, since she can litterary make anyone dust if they met a certain requirement that haven't been shown yet.

Yeah I agree why else would bonney cry when she found out about Kuma. I think enel (eneru) will make another appearance when they find out what Uranus is. If anything the names of the ancient weapons have been on point Poseidon being of the sea, pluton being a weapon of destruction, and Uranus has to be from space.

I've always been a huge supporter of the Vegapunk in Wano theory mainly because of two things you didn't mention here: Momonosuke's devil fruit and the SMILEs. I think Momo's artificial fruit and its malfunctions will play some part in the upcoming fight, since Momo will be at the center of it. I believe Momo and the creator of his fruit will have to meet, and Vegapunk will fix what's wrong with the fruit and help Momo join the fight.
Then there's the SMILEs, which are a direct product of Vegapunk's own research Caesar had stolen. Vegapunk may be the only one able to reverse the side effects since he knows how they're created and is an expert on artificial devil fruits. Wano is not going to end with the SMILE problem left unsolved.
I have theory about Devil Fruits and how it relates to Haki. I'm actually making an entire series trying to help explain Haki(which means Supreme Qi). One Piece is super elaborate, but if look into real life spirituality you can figure out where Oda is going with his story.

The world government wants Bonny so that they can abuse her Devil Fruit power to keep the Celestial Dragons young forever. The whole story of the Celestial Dragons will have to do with wanting to live forever. I believe that the reason Vegapunk was experimenting with creating dragons on Punk Hazard has to do with the fact that some aspect of "Eastern Style" Dragons can grant someone immorality. It will become apparent as the story goes on that the One Piece world used to have wild dragons "Void Century" but they were hunted to extinction in order remain immortal.
Kaido may even be the last real dragon left which is why he is himself immortal. Just a thought.

Oda has stated that Bonney is 24 years Old. So she hasn't been keeping people alive for long periods of time. We also know that she uses an alter identity as "Connie" the Princess of the Sorbet Kingdom (which we have found out Kuma was the King of that Kingdom)
Considering her Devil Fruit and everything. I have the feeling that Bonney's Devil Fruit is not a Natural Devil Fruit, it is a Vegapunk created Devil Fruit. Would explain her connection with Vegapunk. But i feel what makes Akaino so upset about the existence of Bonney is probably all the knowledge she has gathered over the years. We know she's a master infiltrator. Being able to enter Mary Joise is no small feat.
Also if we take her real life counterpart Anne Bonney. She was a Noble that became a Pirate. So just like Doflamingo, Bonney might be a Celestial Dragon. But unlike Doflamingo, she has taken direct opposition against the WG. This makes her far more dangerous than Doflamingo.
Doflamingo was left alone, because he decided to play the role of an intermediary. But it is clear that Bonney is taken a different role. She's siding way too much with the revolutionaries. As such any knowledge she has wont be used as a trading card to negotiate with the WG, her knowledge will be directly used against the WG since she is aligned with the Revolutionaries (not a revolutionary per se, but the fact she is attached to Kuma clearly shows)
Also just like Shanks was the inspiration for Luffy. Kuma was likely the inspiration for Bonney. Even more reasons she has revolutionary tendencies.

Honestly, I hope that Kuma never gets his personality back. It's a very big sacrifice made for the sake of helping others and (potentially) part of a larger plan to take out the WG from the inside.

I just had a thought while listening to this video. Uranus is the god of the sky. So if Uranus keeps up the trend of the ancient weapons it will very loosely have something to do with the sky. That and the excerpt of Oda saying devil fruits will be explained by a professor (which brief side tangent, he said professor, not doctor or scientist, so it's not necessarily Vegapunk). What if Uranus is how devil fruits are made? Basically they are manufactured fruits that allow a person to reach their highest potential (vague sky related reference). That would also explain Vegapunk's experiments on devil fruits with only partial success since he doesn't have Uranus.

It is the case. I saw a mention on the link this was posted on reddit that oda and his editors are usually 2-3 chapters ahead. It similarly made me question why the chapter got postponed. Perhaps they wanted to maintain that chapter gap since we know the meticulous level of planning oda has it prompted them to push the release schedule m

The manga is at Chapter 972--but there's been a long flashback about the backstory of the Wano characters, so they are only a little ahead when it comes to the main plotline.

I've always felt that haki(spiritual energy) are closes related to devil fruits.
I feel like their was some method in the void century that allowed people with strong/unique spiritual energy transfer their essence into the fruit grown on a particular tree. More then likely the D's knowing they'd lose the war against the "God" during the void and as a last ditch effort to let the people of the world have a fighting chance against the overwhelming power to the WG, put their essence into the fruits.
As far as the connection of haki to devil fruits i believe they're totally dependent on the individual. For instance, if Zoros essence was put into a devil fruit they that fruit would grant an individual something akin to ashura. They'd be able to grow several arms and grow them to increase their power.
Sanjis fruit would be based of his hells memories. Meaning if his unique spiritual essence was put into a devil fruit the user would be able to summon flames of varying intensity based off the persons emotional state.

The reason Orochi was Vegapunk is not because he wants him himself. But because remember Luffy has messed the SMILE production. As such, Vegapunk will be more than a replacement of Caesar, he would be an upgrade. Allowing even more perfected SMILE production if he were to arrive at Wano.

This was a hella good theory. Especially when Sawyer talks about the scene where Bonney gives the order to her crew to set sail for the New World. Kid could somehow ending serving under Blackbeard. Both of them have a drive for power. Since Luffy and Kid are together at the moment and both want to take down Kaido they could form an alliance which will later be broken after Kaido falls. Kid could then later on end up joining Blakbeard's crew. Since Kid knows a bit on Luffy, he could end up revealing some information to Blackbeard as well. He could be a powerful force to the Blackbeard Pirates if he decides to join.

She has to be related to kuma if she goes as far as to go to mariejoies to free him. The best option is that she is Kuma's daughter and that she looks like her grandma Conney and can be mistaken for her if she ages.

Regarding Eustass. He's similar to Blackbeard in that they both said they want to be pirate king not that may be true or not. But also they are both pretty violent. Just a similarity. The difference in their similarity I think is. Luffy gets along better with kid than bb. Because BB plans and goes out of his way to takedown other pirates and factions. But from kids history it just says he's violent. Kid probably only attacks people who just get in his way like luffy but more violently.
Concerning Noah I think the purpose is to be used to evacuate the fish men because the Eve tree might get destroyed perhaps? Maybe a battle will take place on it or an event might take place that leads to its destruction? We don’t know to much bout the tree and it’s importance so maybe there’s a secret with it?

I think she’s older than kuma and has a big bounty because of her age... as for why they haven’t killed her is probably because she told someone else of her knowledge and she told that person to spill all the information if she dies essentially making her untouchable.

The biblical flood could have been a countermeasure against devil fruit users enacted by god, which ultimately failed as the fruits regrew. I also theorize that the world used to be a super continent, but to protect themselves from the devil fruit users, people did something to split it into islands using the sea. We already know that some giants can drag landmasses from place to place, as was done with Orochi Island.
I hope Sawyer reviews Tower of God when it’s out.
