Also, just in case anyone thinks you can leap over Armstrong's flaming homing charge, nope, he FLIES UP INTO THE AIR to wreck your shit. This was an amazing fight, and it's awesome to see Chip do it damage-free and coming so close to being struck; constant taunting, firing off a second charge during ground pound. Those months of practice paid off :P
Y'know you guys made Rising even better for me even though this game was so god damn fun you guys made me want to watch it over. I can't wait for Rising 2.

I would recommend Hard mode if you're decently skilled at the game (and do any and all Zenny grinding off screen using the Cardon Ruins method). That way, you can demonstrate that it's not just a kid game, and actually has a decent challenge on high difficulty. Maybe even throw your own personal challenges or something to make it interesting. If you ever did Legends 2, Very Hard mode all the way.
It's the best of metal gears once Kojima is relieved by it and is taken up by platinum's viewitful joe visionary. Konami should just cave to Kojima, let him do his insane shit and pass it onto platinum from now on.

The way I see it, Monsoon was convinced by the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge into thinking that all humans are intrinsically evil, Mistral gained (re)vengeance for her murdered parents but eventually grew disillusioned with killing (until she met Harmstrong), and Sundowner... was just a dick, yeah. I looked into his backstory to see if there was anything sympathetic, but nope, he just likes hurtin' folks.
It's been a month and 12 days since Chip trapped me in the LP Loop...I haven't eaten or gone to the bathroom in weeks, please, if you get this, send help...I want to get off Chip's wild ride...
Sam just turned Raiden into a new Sam. In reverse. Went from wandering murder hobo to losing an arm to working for a PMC. Raiden worked for a PMC, lost an arm, and ended up wandering murder hobo.
Monsoon in Smash is really appealing, much more so than Sam. Edit: Before the final fight Armstrong said, "Will you lend us a *hand*?" The punchline is, "The job's yours." Armstrong extends his hand, "Welcome aboard (*I've taken your hand already*)/(Thanks for lending us a hand!)" Sam seems to be confused but realizes what Armstrong said before the battle and begins laughing at the joke in defeat. It's not a joke for the lack of attention span to absorb this information. I thought it was pretty funny when that happened. I immediately recognized the joke when Armstrong said "Welcome Aboard." It was a morbid joke but I laughed at it.
Although you obviously weren't serious, they won't be able to put Raiden into Smash Bros, because he's already in PS All-Stars. So Sam actually might have a better chance.
Also this is the only dlc where the boss theme are in full vocal mode I'm own master now RUELS OF NATURE and Collective consciousness are in full vocal mode in this dlc

The Two Best Friends Play reaction was absolute gold. I too am surprised that Ironicus didn't squeal with delight. That's been probably one of the best things about this LP.

The pretty horrid voice acting and the somewhat confusing hub world stuff is what stopped me from liking Legends. Though I'm sure Chip can make it fun. Even though I never cared for Legends 3, I feel sorry for all the fans that wanted it. Capcom fucked up.
