on my 25th raid without a shiny, Yveltal luck has been terrible. Reminds me of my Giratina luck, I did 20 giratina raids without a shiny, but ended up with 2
@ 3:40 you are going to catch a Yveltal from the raid. You say excellent is easy. I have some mature difficulties catching one because I can't throw excellent as easy as everyone else. Not that I don't know the trick to keep that little circle, but I'm not consistent in throwing the ball every time. Not the same speed, not the same curve....I don't know anymore what to do to throw an excellent a bit more often. 😓
My first two Yveltal raids were both shiny and I never got a shiny Yveltal after. I just felt so guilty because manager wanted a shiny "bacon bird" so bad. I am trying to get best friends with her to trade, but since the shiny isn't in her dex, it'll cost a ton of stardust, and since I live in a small city in Arkansas, stardust grinding is hell.

You don't need to mega evolve a dark type for raids to get the extra candy. Just need a mega active
You need the same type for the XL bonus, the candy bonus comes from any mega but the XL one doesn’t
