Hey I’m only 16 but I spend a lot of time working on computers and I’m always fixing others peoples stuff. Are there required certifications to have before getting a comptia a+ and if so what are they?
My cousin have been telling about this for about a year, and he's telling me to study for this. That it could change my lifestyle... he wasn't explaining it clearly for me. I didn't fully understand what his job was, but I decided to youtube his line of work and now I see that I could do this type of work. Now im going to study. Wish me luck.
Starting my google it support course soon to prepare for this later... Working as a health and safety specialist has drained me I can't wait until I finally get to do something I love.. wish me luck
Hi LINDOKUHLE, Thanks for your question. The next certification that we suggest is Security+ Here is a video that tells you more about the Security+ certification: th-cam.com/video/jeeP2CcFRv4/w-d-xo.html Hope that helps!
Hi xoni ouxx, You can get more information about the eligibility criteria for the A+ here: www.skillsbuildtraining.com/product/comptia-a-220-901-220-902/ Thanks
Hello Walter. No, it does not beat Computer Engineering. When you complete an engineer education, you get the title "Engineer" and you also get the benefit fo getting the same salary as an engineer which is higher than someone who simply has a CompTIA A+ certificate. Just think of this as a Bonus certificate to add to your CV.
computer engineers require a lot of math. its a totally diffrent field. you learn to program with computer engineering. comptia a+ is just to get you that entry level job at the help desk. you work your way up with experience. this field at its highest levels is more focused on network security, network engineering, system administration, cyber security. etc.
Hey guys I am from non-IT background who's looking to move to IT field. I have studied CCNA through Udemy but haven't appeared for exam yet. I am little confused whether I should start my career in CCNA as I have knowledge but not certificate or it's better to start in Certified Ethical Hacking? Can you suggest me which one is beneficial for my career in future.
Hi Sadiq, Thanks for your question. Since you already have some experience in Networking, it might make more sense to continue with CCNA. Hope that helps.

It depends on which method of training you use...books, video, or instructor-led.
