First of all good to see Leonard coaching. He was a good receiver and has been around the game a while. I’m a Washington fan but here to see Ricky and hear people talk about him. HTTC
He's definitely in tuned and focus very smart see him as a coach one day, bit my boy Grant does his thing don't get it twisted he's a second generation journalist, from a hall a famer job he's not trying to be smarter than future Head Coaches he's giving his perspective as a journalist period . I got your back Grant, and tell pops hello I'm a 49ers fan till death so pops thank u
9:59 This answered the problem about Deebo getting off press coverage in the Super Bowl. It came down to preparation and study. They can’t just rely on athletic ability all the time.
He's been the 49ers' WR coach since 2022, and I ain't trying to be a jerk for saying this, but I feel like he's not an effective coach. He hasn't really developed young guys. Look at Danny Gray and Tay Martin as examples. Ronnie Bell's dad is a WR coach, so he's fine on his own. Wes Welker was a better coach. Jauan Jennings gave credit for Welker in helping him learn. He's probably one of the reasons why Brandon Aiyuk is so good right now when Welker was the coach from 2019 - 2021.
@@calbass103 Yeah, no doubt. It's the same with the TE position. There's such a gap between George Kittle and the rest of the 49ers TEs. It's wild to remember that it's been over a decade since the 49ers had a legit TE duo. The last was Vernon Davis and Delanie Walker. It could've been Kittle and Jordan Reed since Reed looked good 2020, but it's understandable why he chose to retire due to injury history. At least the LBs and RBs have been consistent ever since the start of the Shanahan/Lynch Era.

You can tell he’s passionate about his job. Young coach and can relate better to his receiver group

@@xBelingerantGrant and Jessie are both married 😊. If you watch both channels you’ll know what I’m talking about.
@@melvincrediford2072 Jessie definitely simps for Grant lol
Y’all are actual fans 🤣🤣
If Kyle gives him a OC or passing game coordinator role he will be a HC in the future.
Is jj holding out for another team to trade for him? I’m not understanding the delay in signing unless it was discussed already and I missed it
That’s the MO or ways of John Lynch, wait till the very last second to close contracts.
So the secret of life is......Reps?
Someone capping haha
deebo 5’11
Aiyuk 5’11
Jennings 6’2
I do believe BA is 6'. I can see Deebo being 5'10 lol
"you know"
“like i said”
Why are they asking the same questions lol
Thought he was a player smart dude though
He was drafted by Washington in 2011

Ya but some wr's just don't pan out. I would say, give this guy another season or so to see what he can do with these new receivers.
The later round receivers might have been thin those draft years, don't quote me on that though.
