The police department had a 4 lane road blocked off 3 different Directions.. Just for a single car wreck and some Tumble weeds. on the road go figure. As you can see There is plenty of room traffic? Good have gone around.

Lancaster built their streets like racetracks and then get shocked when people speed and crash. Props to the city for fixing Lancaster Blvd. They should do the same here.
